Yup... Just as I thought... I knew this was what you were talking about.
It didn't blow any holes in anything... There were violent protests over that video going on in Cairo and other parts of the Middle East, and even if Obama assumed the Benghazi attacks were also due to those protests at the time, it doesn't change the fact that by the end of the night, he was told by Panetta and General (forgot his name) that it was a terrorist attack, not a protest that got out of hand.
In fact, just a few days after the attack, Democratic Senator Carl Levin, the chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee said to the media after receiving a briefing from the Defense Secretary that “it was a planned, premediated attack.”
Obama lied... That's something you're just going to have to live with.
Nope, a new investigation into Bengazi is starting next month.
Nope, a new investigation into Bengazi is starting next month.
Nope, a new investigation into Bengazi is starting next month.
Given the large number of investigations into the terrorist attack, all of which reached broadly similar conclusions, this outcome really isn't surprising.

Oh dear, what will the True Believers say now
I wonder why the report was released late on a Friday

Is joke, no?
Depends on whether you want to include context. Dunno why so many are afraid of context, but it seems they are.

I wonder what the final cost was. Anybody know?
And the wing-nuts must be really disappointed. This "investigation" didn't even uncover a blow job.
They did lie... For nearly 2 weeks the Administration led the American people to believe that the attack was not done by organized terrorists, but was the result of spontaneous outrage over a YouTube video. It was a total crock of "you can keep your doctor" BS.
BTW, I appreciate you backing up my claim by showing that the lie about a the video was the thing that bothered me the most.
Mark my words 20 years from now they will still be bringing up Benghazi anytime the Obama presidency is mentioned.
The final word is not in yet.
Possible yes.
And cause of investigation...national security was compromised and anyone who committed a wrongdoing needs to be exposed.
With that idea I am surprised you are NOT demanding congress get to the bottom of who is lying instead of chanting "old news" for two years

Reaching again....Your own OP went on to say:
"But the investigation also found the security at the diplomatic outpost was weak and it described a "flawed" process used to create talking points for House Intelligence Committee members and then-U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice, whose public statements after the attack incensed critics who said the administration was avoiding calling the attack terrorism."
and...
"The Select Committee on Benghazi received the Intelligence committee's report on the Benghazi terrorist attack (in August), and has reviewed it along with other committee reports and materials as the investigation proceeds," spokesman Jamal D. Ware said in a statement. "It will aid the Select Committee's comprehensive investigation to determine the full facts of what happened in Benghazi, Libya before, during and after the attack and contribute toward our final, definitive accounting of the attack on behalf of Congress."
So, excuse me if I'd like to wait until the Select committee finishes their work...
I wonder why it say this at the conclusion of the report:
"The report is therefore meant to serve as the definitive House statement [emphasis added] on the Intelligence Community’s activities before, during, and after the tragic events that caused the deaths of four brave Americans. Despite the highly sensitive nature of these activities, the report has endeavored to make the facts and conclusions within this report widely and publicly available so that the American public can separate actual fact from rumor and unsupported innuendo [emphasis added].

Fact of the matter is that they can word things any way they want, doesn't make it so...There is a Select committee impaneled at present...That report is meant to be the final word...
Well, until it does not find what republicans want, then the next panel will be the final word...
