Rep. Ronny Jackson declines to answer House panel questions related to Jan. 6 attacks

How about Nancy? Why did she turn down the Chief of Capitol Police's request for the National Guard for January 6th? Six times.
What's your source?

He's just repeating what Fox has harped on since almost the beginning.

It was part of their damage control plan.

Several other congresscritters have been asked, but refused to cooperate. They'd be insane to.

Doubt it. For the first time in American history, the Speaker of the House refused to seat he members of the minority proposed by the minority leader. Unprecedented. At that point the Committee lost any credibility they may have ever had.
No. That's not true. It's just your opinion, but every certain type of person made that decision long before Pelosi made hers.

Guilty or not it would be foolish of him to cooperate with an agency that does not operate in good faith with people.
That's what crooks say.

Or people that support the crooks.

The law offers him the same protections that it offers everyone. He did not surrender those rights when he took a gov job.

There's an inherent responsibility to be transparent when you're serving in a public office. It's pretty apparent that Jackson has a relationship with people who have been charged of crimes against the United States, and the texts themselves seem to indicate that Jackson may have aided and abetted criminal conduct. He needs to explain himself. Or as you say, he can plead the fifth in a criminal trial.

I mean, the Republicans should just change their name from the Republican party to the Sopranos party. They're like a mob, and the Republican who vote for them are like their episodic binge watching fandom.

Yeah. They're definitely a mob.

While they lecture other people of course.

100% true. Unprecedented. Pelosi admitted it.

“The unprecedented nature of January 6th demands this unprecedented decision,” Pelosi said of the decision to block Jordan and Banks, two loyal allies of former President Donald Trump who supported the baseless claims of election fraud that inspired the attack.

November will, as per history, always hurt the incumbent party. Republicans making a big deal out of this are as usual, gaslighting. Even if republicans take both houses, Biden will veto all their BS legislation.

Look at it this way: Currently, democrats are fighting for lower drug costs. Republicans are fighting Mickey Mouse. Nothing's getting done now, why will 2 more years of it hurt the dems??
Impeachments. Investigations. Karma's a bitch.

You said the committee lost credibility. You're just making noise.

Neither of these sources mention Pelosi, neither source is from before Jan 6.

You’re perpetuating a lie, and you’re doubling down on it.

Nah. Anything to let your peeps off the hook for what they did that day.
Again with that? Who are "my peeps"?

The security failures are within the control of Congress. Their fault - and their responsibility. Had the capitol police called in additional staff, including the national guard, this would have been just a big mob. Had the doors been reinforced so that a mob couldn't push them open or break windows with a stick, no one would have gotten inside. Had capitol leadership heeded the warnings (House and Senate), there would have been at most a brief delay.

But yes, Pelosi et al will do anything to deflect from what they did that day.

Perhaps the 'investigation' would be more effective if they called the people that actually attacked the capitol, and made those tweets, rather than those who were trapped inside.
You have no better of an idea of who the panel is speaking with than I do. The only folks trapped inside was congress, the others were, oh yeah, patriots stopping the steal.

Big connection to the planned attack on our Capitol via the Oath Keepers. Rep Ronnie Jackson who has in a very big Trumpian style, rejected to cooperate with the 1/6 Committee.
No guilt there.
Rep. Jackson, who was present both at a rally preceding the attack and at the Capitol during the attack, was referenced in several text messages between members of the far-right Oath Keepers group the day of the attack.
"Dr. Ronnie Jackson - on the move." read one of the text messages. "Needs protection. If anyone inside cover him. He has critical data to protect."

That's pure unpatriotic.
They don't care. They are law and order except when they want to ignore law and order.

Just wait til one of the Dems refuses to abide by the GOP's stupid subpoenas. Then it'll be "treason! why does the Dem hate America! Drag his/her ass to jail!"

We can count on it.

Pelosi made them do it!

Why testify? The dog and pony show committee has all of the texts right? They have been leaking when ever they think it will damage
someone they don't like. Hint.... republicans. The MSM is more that happy to run with stuff taken out of context.
What does it hurt to come before the Committee and answer questions? Any verbal information shared from each individual may add to information already on hand. It's not like they'll pull one's teeth with pliers.

It might be chickenshit, but depending on what he did, he might have disqualified himself from office and might have committed crimes - who knows?

More than likely, though, he knows his voters would turn on him if he cooperated, so he won't.
Those who have played their role with the attempted coup would only refuse to answer certain questions or simply not show up. I think Don Jr is going to come in but he'll either lie or not answer 'those' questions. Jackson is too chickensh*t to show up.
