For those not familiar with the name, James Gammon had many roles over the years including Nash Bridge's dad, Coach Lou Brown in the Major league movies, appearances in Monk, Greys Anatomy, and tons of other appearances. He lost a battle with cancer and ABC news reported just a few minutes ago that he had passed. I don't think shows and movies will ever be the same without him as an option. :(
