Questions about concealed carry...

I typically carry mine in the front left (chest) pocket of a leather (motorcycyle) jacket using a kitchen hot pad to keep it from printing. I also have an OWB nylon holster that has a pocket for the extra magazine for open carry states/areas.

Ahh see I carry in either the front right pant pocket or IWB. An auto sticks out like a sore thumb in the pant pocket, but no problem at all for IWB, even a full size auto.

If the pistol you have can handle +P .38 loads and you are comfortable with it, it should be fine. If you are determined to get another, try before you buy.

Asking a question like this will get a lot of Chevy vs Ford arguments but in reality, just find one you are comfortable with. I am a Glock or Ruger guy. For a semi, I would recommend a Glock G19C (compact) or a Ruger SP101 .357 if you want a wheel gun.

BTW the G19C differs from the G19 only in that has two added "compensation" ports (facing straight up) it has the same overall dimensions.
