Considering also that Putin is beginning to supply Israel arch-foe Iran with high-tech weapons systems ... the pinnacle of audacity and hypocrisy.
Yes, I know you love to say that. But there's not complete comparison there. And show me a country in the fray where there isn't hypocrisy in policy.
I suspect that Israel's calculation is rather simple. The S-300 transaction has raised Israel's security costs by making it more difficult for Israel to operate air operations against Iran, if necessary. By considering supplying Kiev with some weapons--not assured right now--Israel is at least signalling to Moscow that it could raise Russia's costs with respect to perceived Russian interests, even if it never goes ahead and supplies Kiev. The overall idea is to discourage Russia from engaging in future transactions that pose a threat to Israel's security interests.
Yup, we can't let the big bad terrorists (Iran isn't one) defend themselves, we need to keep them in fear. That's too bad that Iranian defense is seen as a complication for Israel. It seems to me that folk are complaining about Russian opposition to NATO defense systems.
And too bad that isn't the topic. Care to address the OP? It would be nice if there would be a couple coherent replies before it is diverted into an anti America/Israel bash fest. That's too bad that Iranian defense is seen as a complication for Israel. Hypocrisy is always the topic, deal with it.
You mean the hypocrisy of you focusing on supposed Israeli and American aggression and ignoring Russian aggression. Yeah that does happen a lot.
No, the hypocrisy pointed out in my post that you didn't like.

I didn't get that out of it, but if you want to defend Russian aggression in Ukraine go ahead.Wasn't it started as a 'bash Russia fest'? How dare those Russians say anything bad to those poor Israelis?
Since Putin was never a darling of the right, clearly you poured those drinks long before you started posting. The ex-Republican conservative darling, Putin, is threatening the current conservative darling, Bibi.
Time to sit back, pour and drink and enjoy the show.

Are you saying the Russian invasion of Ukraine isn't aggression? We send troops and equipment from the other side of the globe, and you would call it diplomacy I suppose.
The Russians send troops and equipment across a river and you call it aggression. Got it!
Yes. How dare the Israelis do what Putin does and sell arms abroad lol.How dare those Russians say anything bad to those poor Israelis?
Are you saying the Russian invasion of Ukraine isn't aggression?
No different than if US troops and equipment crossed the Rio Grande and began shelling Mexico. The Russians send troops and equipment across a river and you call it aggression.
Russia already did. Crimea has been Ukrainian land for 60 years. There may come a time that Russia DOES invade Ukraine
So far, there is no Russian invasion of Ukraine, despite the provocative actions of the US and NATO.
There may come a time that Russia DOES invade Ukraine, to defend against what it perceives as belligerence by outsiders. Only time will tell.

Defend themselves how, by massacring innocents around the globe in the name of Shia Islam through proxy organizations?
Perhaps by threatening to annihilate other nations?
And how exactly is the murder of innocents in the name of a sect of Islam and its geopolitical goals not terrorism, do elaborate on that since you claim that the Iranian government are not engaging in terrorism.
