Putin also thought the war would be over in a week. Putin isn't very good at predicting the outcomes of his military actions.

Still deflecting from the topic at hand I see. Russia is in effect the New Nazi Germany. The Mexican-American was was 180 years ago. Stay on topic.

The U.S. didn’t stop with Texas, in case you hadn’t noticed.

Russia can’t be the New Nazi Germany if America is already the New Nazi Germany by your own standard.

The US isnt the topic here. Russia isn't stopping either. Russia is far more Nazi-esque than any other country, except maybe for the former Nazi Germany itself.

Sucks is a masterclass in understatement. Upwards of 40% devoted to war production, Lira-style inflation, massive underemployment and no ability to repay what it owes.

The US, on the other hand, is a pretty clearly fascist society.

Russia's military us falling apart. I doubt their nukes are in much better shape. But it wouldn't surprise me if Russia tried to launch nukes. That's how Putin/Russia thinks.

Which is clearly untrue, as the fact they still hold vast swathes of Ukraine shows.

You were the one who brought up 1945 Germany. If you think the US would hesitate to launch in that scenario you aren’t paying attention.

The historical record pretty clearly shows otherwise. Hitler would have launched years ago.

The fascist tendencies of American society predate Trump considerably, so that isn’t even remotely true.
