And people's previous points debunking that theory didn't phase you? And now you are resorting to personal attacks I see. You don't know me, so you really have no place to make assumptions about me. Is it that hard for you to stay on topic?
The people that debunked what I said are pro kegalization.......I did not attack you, you asked me and I told you.........

Isn't pot a gateway drug to potentially worse substances? Knowing at least 2 people who... "moved on to better things"... I would think this is not uncommon.

The fear that marijuana use might cause, as opposed to merely precede, the use of drugs that are more harmful of great concern. Judging from comments submitted to the IOM study team, this appears to be an even greater concern than the harms directly related to marijuana itself.
it is the legal status of marijuana that makes it a gateway drug.
You smoke pot and pretty soon the buzz wears off and you want something stronger.....The same with beer and whiskey.......You want a bigger high.....

Thats right, we do learn this... Ask anyone about the reasons for the civil war.....I love the old gateway theory. Because we all learned in school that correlation = causation, right? Oh wait ...
Like beer leads to whiskey pot leads to hard drugs..........
Most studies indicate that alcohol is a much stronger "gateway" drug than is marijuana. More people do stupid things while drunk than stoned.
It depends who is doing the studies..........Studies also say that pot eats brain cells......Someone made a joke about the reason prop 19 did not pass is because the pot users were to stoned to get out and vote.....Lot of truth there...........
So how do you feel about this study:
BBC News - Alcohol 'more harmful than heroin' says Prof David Nutt
The BBC is one of the most liberal rags in the world...They have a progressive axe to grind.......
The stoners lose again, even in California..........Eat your heart out Disney Dude
Proposition 19 to legalize marijuana defeated | abc7.com
LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- One of the most controversial measures on Tuesday's ballot is Proposition 19, the initiative to legalize, regulate and tax marijuana in California. It was sure to be challenged, even if voters approved it. Some lawmakers had already been preparing to tax cannabis sales. The measure was defeated Tuesday night.
The Associated Press called the measure defeated at 9:45 p.m. Tuesday.
If you are going to try to refute something, you should do it with substance instead of just claiming that something is liberally biased. BTW, did it occur to you that the BBC only wrote the article and that the study was conducted by actual scientists?
