Professor tweets ‘all I want for Christmas is white genocide’

If he's serious, what's stopping him from being the first one to go? Lead by example professor, not by rhetoric.

A feminized liberal male if I ever saw one.

Why is he still working at this school?

He sounds like an utter deplorable. One of his more recent books "Building the Commune: Radical Democracy in Venezuela".

Feel that progressive/communist love?

This POS is whats wrong with our colleges today!

If this idiot had said “Black or Muslim genocide” he would be out of a job, and under investigation by the FBI. And rightly so. However, because this is about hate for Whites, nothing will happen. No loss of job.

A look at Haiti now, even most of the bleeding hearts have given up on them, they never want to be better, they are addicted to being lazy victims.

.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Uh....the white people running the show in Haiti were exceptionally corrupt, brutal and arrogant, even for slave owners of that time(which is saying a lot.)

They revolted against the French Republic and the Declaration of the Rights of Man. It didn't end well for them

His original Tweet that started the controversy read:
"All I Want for Christmas is White Genocide

— George Ciccariello (@ciccmaher) December 25, 2016"

This Tweet has been removed from Twitter. He should now Tweet
"All I want for Christmas is to still have a job in January!"

He's a "communist", by his own admission. People like him are why I have no faith in humans, too much stupid.

I conclude that it is adopting of the victim identity that did them in mostly.

The Haitians are unsalvageable till they decide they want to be better.

We should let them stew till/unless they decide they do.

We cant save everybody.

There's always been guys like this floating around in academia. I doubt he'd give up his cushy job to actually live in a communist society, like he claims. Thankfully, this guy isn't representative of humans in anyway shape or form, as most people aren't stupid enough to rail against the system that gives them everything they have.

It is certainly a stupid opinion and quite disgusting. But it is an opinion and expressing it is and should be protected. This way he is a known idiot and can be debated or ridiculed. That is much better than his being unknown and hidden in obscurity.

Protected from what?? He's working for a PRIVATE institution, his dumbass should be FIRED.

You are protected from GOVERNMENT action, not private action, from prison, fines and government legal action, not consequences for your own stupidity.

In a private institution he could be fired without direct Constitutional implications. Receiving Federal or State money might be a problem, though. I wonder how the school management and the people paying the tuition see it.

That whole "they might receive some federal monies so..." **** is a terrible thing, that should NOT matter. Only IF the Government were to say "You must fire him or we cut off funds/We're cutting off funds because of him"

Then it would be different.

When Clinton wishes him a “successful” presidency, what does this mean? Successfully building a wall along the southern border? Successfully rolling back what little protections exist for people of color, queer and trans people, and women? No, we wish no success for Trump.

As Keeanga-Yamahtta Taylor, author of From #BlackLivesMatter to Black Liberation, put it this morning:
“No, we don’t owe this monster an open mind… Trump deserves revulsion and relentless protest. After a year of calling this man a fascist and a unique evil, they tell us to unite and give him a chance… No one is interested in unifying with this garbage; we have to confront this racism and sexism in the streets and organize like we never have before.”

Clinton is no ally of the left: her record of support for mass incarceration, neoliberalism, and brutal wars and coups abroad makes this perfectly clear. We don’t owe Trump “an open mind and a chance to lead.” We owe him nothing but our ferocious opposition in the streets, and that starts today.
This is no time for unity -- Trump must be confronted with relentless protest

Shocking of course.

This guy is an American citizen no less, born in the "woods of Maine" he says.

It would certainly be worse. But using public money to do something indirectly that would be unconstitutional done directly is probably not quite legal and certainly not legitimate.

If it has nothing to do with the money involved, not directed by the Government, it's NOT a constitutional issue. "we're sorry, you did this thing, and see, you get a grant for road access, so that would be the Government endorsing this action, you cannot do it"... What? No, that has to stop.

anybody advocating for genocide of anybody else is a complete buttwipe.

The problem with money is its indivisible nature. You cannot easily separate the origins of money that are used to pay for things.

The "victim ideology" did in the white colonists in Haiti? No, it was their own brutality and stupidity.

It's very easy to say when it's not your ass on the line to try and make things better.

Everybody whose tried before has died
