Priebus Re-elected; Ran Unopposed: (1 Viewer)

The Republican National Committee membership voted overwhelmingly Friday to re-elect Priebus at their annual winter meeting in Charlotte, N.C. National committeeman Mark Willis of Maine tried to challenge Priebus but could not muster the backing of the three states needed to qualify for the ballot.

Two Republicans from Maine voted against Priebus while 166 members of the Republican Party voted for his re-election.

One wonders what Priebus is thinking. He recently went to Nevada to “play nice” with Paul supporters. Of course, Priebus wants to be seen as a uniter after a horrible election. However, will the Paulbots ever forgive him? After all, they believe he had the sole hand in stealing the election from him. That’s why they all went over to the Mark Willis train or even thought about replacing him with someone else. He is seen as too moderate among some other social conservatives as well. Some even believe that he hand-picked Mitt Romney to be front-runner. As laughable as that sounds.

Paulbots are not Republicans! No matter how much Reince Priebus talks to them. They will always secretly hate us! They will always put divisive politics over party, and yes country, just to "spread their message." They only want their people in power and refuse to work with anyone else on issues that they care about. That, is not how government works!

This is just my opinion, but I don't think that Priebus serves the interests of the Party very well. He's not the brightest bulb in the basket.

Yes, but this shows how fruitless the attempt to run against him was.
