He can certainly form whatever opinion he wants, but his opinion is based on partial at best information and his own biases. I prefer to wait for full information...HUH?
He is a NEWS AGGREGATOR - so of course he can form an opinion based on the facts disclosed by Investigative Reporters like Alex Berenson.
Did you serve??? There is an old boy network alive and well. A marginal Lieutenant promoted because his daddy is a general. An officer promoted repeatedly, might wonder if marrying a West Point Commandant had something to do with it. DEI is useful in giving every service person an equal shot at promotions and assignments. Befriend a senior officer and have a 'rabbi' to help grease the promotion/assignment skids....that's exactly what it was DEI is hiring people on their skin color and sexual choices or gender over males/whites/heterosexuals equally or most often more qualified I think its pretty well known now that Lobach was lesbian. Was that why she was where she was? We don't know that - but Biden loved DEI and elevating people based on skin color/gender etc as did his administration Its a logical / reasonable assumption. Its clearer now that she was in error as well, and she was qualified enough not to make those mistakes. sometimes two things can be at once - that she was a DEI benefactor and just made mistakes that had nothing to do with the DEI part.

White folks bitch because people who don't look like them get a chance to be seen and assigned. I'd say Cpt. Lobach was not promoted due to her sexual preference but rather for her very good looks as a VIP escort. That is the exact opposite of DEI. Seen as an attractive bit of prop. Boys being boys and all that excusing sexist preferences....
If 'white folks' gives you pause and you freak out to the point you can't address the body of the post, you must be of a very sensitive nature. DEI would greatly benefit you...wow ....
I don't believe in discrimination (DEI)If 'white folks' gives you pause and you freak out to the point you can't address the body of the post, you must be of a very sensitive nature. DEI would greatly benefit you...
my Dad did, my son does, I did notBut address the body of my post-
Did you serve??? I did
I don't know anything about itWhat do you think of the good old boy network that gets the 'fortunate son' a West Point appointment???
no ideaThe Daddy Gerneral that gets the mediocre junior Officer promotions???
Marry into a military dynasty and rise through the grades???
The cute female receiving prize duty stations????
Long before DEI I went before the Post Command Sargeant Major to try and get a duty slot at Ft. Sill. His assistant was an amazingly beautiful Spec5.
The good old boy sexist mindset was very much in evidence.
Cpt Lobach wasn't picked because she didn't ride the bologna pony. She was very pretty and that has been a great way to advance as 'Daddy is a general' way before DEI.
MAGA can pretend otherwise....
White folks, get it right...I don't believe in discrimination (DEI) my Dad did, my son does, I did not. I don't know anything about it. no idea. maybe so 50 years ago - today is 2025, its a different world and "white boys" racist talk doesn't get people very far IMO
I responded to your assertion that DEI was always about selecting the best people without giving any group undue preference. The only way such an idiot as that fire chief could have got into her office was through discriminatory DEI policies. That chief made an idiotic response to a question of practical consequences, and in all likelihood she said it because she thought she was protected by her lesbian status.Interesting. I mentioned SIX (6) things wrong with your post. You were silent on five of them (thanks for the concession) and all over this nuance, which you also got wrong. I don't believe you read and comprehended the article particularly well, as Trump's DEI comments were specifically about the air traffic controllers... He made no such comment questioning the competency of the pilot based on his bigotry, that was reserved for the controllers.
No, Trump spoke out of his 'A" as he always does, impulsive yet ignorant. Read the NTSB prelimimary findings. This is not crafted from ignorance, like Trump's and your comments, but an actual investigation. There were no questions of competence raised (which is different than error), but this was substantially attributable to a systematic issue involving the air routes around DCA. It had nothing to do with DEI, in reality, or even in the bigoted way in which you tried to frame it.
Trump, as usual, was wrong, as are you.
No, that is not what DEI is.... that is what many people thought affirmative action was, but they would be wrong on that front as well. Sorry pal, but you comments above reek of bigotry....
Here, study up on DEI and get back to us when you are less ignorant on the subject...
What is DEI, what does it mean, and why are companies really getting rid of it?
DEI does not ensure certain groups have preferential treatment, but rather that none do.www.advocate.com DEI: What It Is & How to Champion It in the Workplace
If you want to champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) at your organization, here are four ways to do so.online.hbs.edu
What on earth are you talking about????? What does this have to do with the subject at hand?
You are confusing affirmative action with DEI. Moreover, you allegations here are nothing by conjecture sizing her qualifications up on a single instance. That, sir, in and of itself is an expression of bigotry. You know very little about this person or her qualifications.... but sure are quick to rush to judgement.I responded to your assertion that DEI was always about selecting the best people without giving any group undue preference. The failing NY TIMES sat on the story for over 3 months . Now they finally disclosed that On the night of January 29, Army Black Hawk pilot Capt. Rebecca Lobach was conducting an annual flight evaluation with her co-pilot Chief Warrant Officer 2 Andrew Loyd Eaves, who was serving as her flight instructor. The Biden Administration had a regulation requiring federal agencies use DEI over MERITS.
Her instructor told her REPETEADLY NOT TO EXCEED the 200 feet Helicopter Limit feet , to remain to the LEFT of the air corridor. SHE FAILED OR REFUSED. 100% PILOT ERROR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!DEI KILLS
That ****ing moron Trump is not right about anything.
None of that rant made any sense.I'm a fixed-wing pilot in real life and have some experience with rotary-wing aircraft (AKA helicopters), which definitely take lots of time to master.
After looking at the initial pilot debriefs right after the incident, I jokingly remarked, 'Woman helo driver, no survivors,' which understandably raised some eyebrows among family members.
All joking aside, it makes me wonder how many armchair pilots (on both sides of the political spectrum) would truly be able to successfully fly a helicopter in a challenging environment. In other words, I'm pretty certain that 99.999% of people out there would have also messed up and broken the assigned 200 ft MSL altitude ceiling.
PS one should also question if white guys are actually superior pilots,... just saying why wasn't the flight white male instructor able to catch the mistake of the "women helo driver"
As for that ****ing moron, 98% agree with the sentiment,... BUT have to wonder if some social justice warriors made lots of huge mistakes of their own by pushing DEI way too much in unresolved big issues (like climate change)
No, I'm not confusing anything, least of all your false narrative. You are confusing affirmative action with DEI. Moreover, you allegations here are nothing by conjecture sizing her qualifications up on a single instance. That, sir, in and of itself is an expression of bigotry. You know very little about this person or her qualifications.... but sure are quick to rush to judgement.
My God, our POTUS makes idiotic responses daily, but you over look those because he looks like a POTUS to you.
That all said, this is not germane to the conversation. This plane accident had nothing to do with DEI (or affirmative action) and everything to do with an overcrowded airspace over DCA, and approach procedures that need updating to deal with the density of aircraft in the area.
