Everyone in my office for one and secondly, most of the people on DP who actually know what skepticism is.

The amount of failed attempts to even bruise Trump before and after the election. Are going to outweigh whatever achievements they can eek out for a long time.

Sounds like you and people you talk to are viewing the unfolding developments through a skewed lens and all
the lying makes little to no impression on any of you....interesting. Why then are Trump and his pals reduced to lying like would be
expected of obstructors of justice? Rather unusual to be charged with lying in a proffer meeting, look it up, post another
example of someone doing that in a plea deal negotiation!

After Ex-Trump Staffer’s Guilty Plea, New Charges Tossed
February 27, 2018 BRITAIN EAKIN FacebookTwitterGoogle+Email
ALEXANDRIA, Va. (CN) – A federal judge nixed 22 tax and bank-fraud charges Tuesday against the latest former Trump campaign official to plead guilty as part of the investigation of Russia’s influence on the 2016 presidential election.

Rick Gates agreed just this past Friday to plead guilty to lying to the FBI and conspiracy to defraud the United States, but Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team had brought the superseding charges against him and co-defendant Paul Manafort just one day earlier in Virginia’s Eastern District.

Longtime business associates, Gates and Manafort were arrested last year as part of a 12-count indictment that was unsealed on Oct. 30.

As part of his plea Friday, 45-year-old Gates admitted that he lied to the FBI during a Feb. 1, 2018, proffer session when agents asked him about Manafort’s meeting on March 19, 2013, with a lobbyist and a member of Congress.

Though Gates told FBI agents that Manafort told him no discussions of Ukraine took place at that meeting, Gates acknowledged last week that had in fact worked with Manafort on a report for Ukrainian leadership memorializing the pertinent Ukraine discussions from the meeting.

On the same day Gates lied to the FBI, three of his attorneys sought permission to withdraw from the case....

If all you can bring to bear is Gates and Manafort. Then your foot is squarely stuck in that dead horse from kicking it so hard.

Then again, we can still just read up on this and see facts for what they are. We still don't even see this coming close to scratching the varnish on Trump and people playing that it will. Only makes it look that much more pathetic.

This could be as damaging for the people directly involved as people say it is. But if they believe that this is even going to put a break in Trump's stride. Then I invite them to swallow that specific pill over and over again.

The way Trump and his supporters wants us to believe that these constant meetings involving the same people, are just benign re-occurrences that mean nothing, frankly concerns me as to how so many people can lack what is warranted skepticism.

Americans have been conditioned to avoid skepticism. They are conditioned to believe all they are told by the media and the authorities, no skepticism allowed.

As Kierkegaard noted, there are 2 ways to be fooled: one is to believe what isn't so; the other is to refuse to believe what is so. The average American gets fooled both ways.

Corallo's lawyer is diGenova's wife, Victoria Toensing, and law partner in their four person firm, also representing Sam Clovis and Uranium One
"Whistleblower," William Campbell. Fox left him out of this ridiculous report informing Fox fans
that Victoria will be joining her husband in table pounding for Trump because Corallo and Clovis
Will sign waivers. Clovis okayed the Russian outreach of cofeve boy Papadopoulos. No judge will
admit this circus into any proceeding, but if true, the fact they are even trying to do all this is
Interesting....or desperate?

In a statement released Sunday morning, Trump attorney Jay Sekulow cited conflicts of interest as the reason Joseph diGenova and Victoria Toensing, a married couple, would not be signing on. The two had been set to represent the president personally, not the White House, in the probe into Russian meddling in the 2016 election....

“We thank the president for his confidence in us and we look forward to working with him on other matters,” diGenova and Toensing said in a joint statement......
