That may have been. Emphasis on 'have'. It didn't much last beyond the point where the Biden campaign copy / pasted the Bernie platform into their own platform.

It's well acknowledged that Biden is the hard left's Trojan Horse, and it is also well acknowledged that a great number of voters polled expect Harris to to take over his presidency.

Harris is no moderate by any measure nor by any regard. Her Senatorial voting record makes her even more leftist than Sanders. Even worse than that, she's so authoritarian to the point of being nearly totalitarian. Not the principals of this nation.

But it is becoming more apparent that Progressivism is growing in America. A lot of young people are realizing that the "American Dream" is mostly a game rigged against them. And a lot of people who have sat by while they are systemically treated as second class (or less) citizens are finally getting tired enough to stand up.

The fact is that the cities that failed to tamp down the riots, and have in fact allowed and encouraged the riots, are Democrat held and controlled cities which implemented their Progressive agenda, and who's minorities are now being treated like second class (or less) citizens by the thug opportunistic Marxist-Leninist mobsters which have stepped into and exploited the Democrat directed withdraw of the police.

This is what you can reap when you sow the seeds of leftism and progressivism. And yet, here you are calling for the same to be spread like COVID across the nation.

Trump is incompetent. There's literally no way to view him as anything other than that. He DEFINITELY has big business's interests in mind and that helps buoy stock prices and keep the train a rollin' after Obama's term oversaw the longest peace-time economic growth in America's history. I will grant Trump that.

It was historic low unemployment and historic high employment participation. The tight labor of then was pushing wages, mostly middle class and lower, up. First time in decades. These historic trends after the Obama administration's policies, yes those leftist progressive policies, were flushed, unleashing the economy raising all economic boats. And now you want to pull and plug and watch it all go down the drain to progressivism? To socialism? Seriously?

But his massive mishandling of COVID is threatening that. Even though the stock market is mysteriously still pretty good, that can't last forever. We should have been doing SOMETHING to ensure we can get out of this COVID thing unscathed, but I guess we'll see.

The fact of the matter is that there's nary a country that handled COVID well. European nations got hit. Asian countries got hit. The Middle East nations got hit. Central American countries got hit. The US got hit. All nations got hit.

If you want to examine incompetence in handling COVID, let's take a look at the Democrat governors who forced COVID infect elderly back into elderly care facilities that were ill equipped and unable to care for them and isolate them causing a raging COVID fire killing many elderly already at high risk. There has yet been any sort of reasoned explanation for that public policy, and I rather doubt that you'll ever get it. So much for the leftist press holding Democrat leaders accountable.

Playing a LOT of golf and acting like a malevolent toddler doesn't seem to be as effective for dealing with the worst pandemic in a century, but we should give him more time. Maybe if he comes up with a great insulting nickname for Kamala it'll be "game-set-and-match" for COVID!

I didn’t say Trump was/is responsible for unrest in Portland. Trump is responsible for the increase in the unrest in Portland.

The federal officers have not just been protecting federal property. They have, unprovoked, attacked citizens exercising their Constitutional rights away from federal property.
