First, this has no bearing on the Popes comments. As the reply here states, it's just a dodge, The US, who is the richest nation in the world is saddled with this humanitarian crises.

Secondly, the Know-Knowings are here in force leading the charge to derail the Popes message. The intentional community needs to find common ground to prevent these events from accruing but so strong is the catholic hate among certain people, that message has got lost due to Dr Rage and his one pony show.

The best thing at this point is to go back to the original post, and take it for what it is saying....not want the diseased anti-catholics want people to believe.

Vatican wealth is a separate issue in itself, one I want to address in a separate forum. But for now, I refuse to let Dr and and his minions derail this thread. The problem is in the US/Mexico, not the Catholic church.

Yes, on one level any church or synagogue or mosque is a business. Light bills have to be paid, and repairs must be made, etc. And sometimes sight of the mission is lost.

But this doesn't mean that there aren't earnest individuals who are trying to follow a path of goodness in the world. I think the Pope was speaking to these people when he said that the international community needs to step up now.

I hope various countries' governments will step up to help, but the call is to individuals of conscience. You aren't a Christian because of your membership in a church; you're a Christian when you try to follow Christ's path.

I think Francis is right. Its a crisis and we mustn't punish the children for it. He also calls on the entire international community (not just the US) to deal with this crisis and goes further on to say that what causes this mass migration should be dealt with, something many cons have been saying all along.
Francis didn't make any reference about political affiliation , as so falsely presented during the initial and rather biased overture.

No one is punishing them. we are simply wanting to send them back where they belong. which is not punishing them it is following the law.
i have come to expect this from the OP ever sense they got totally destroy in their rape thread that they created.

I feel if the pope thinks that they should be taken care of then he should be spending some of the billions of dollars that the catholic church has to help out.
so far he hasn't sent one dime so for him to say anything carries no weight on the matter.

If he is so concerned then why is he not having the catholic church's down there do something? Why is he not supporting them? Why is he not sending money to help?
