Is Elon Musk still a right-wing hero? A genius? And if capitalism is a merit-based system, wouldn't he have to be? Was DOGE successful? What happened to the billions and trillions in savings? How many DOGE bucks are now in your pocket?

I'm betting, not but not becasue of Doge, becasue he dared criticize the BBB. Good ole Elon has managed to tick off the left and the right.

A hero? Nah. Just a guy who did a good job...got the ball rolling, so to speak.

Was DOGE successful?
Was? It's not ended. DOGE is still working...and working well.

You need to ask the courts about that.

And yet here you are telling us what a great job they are doing but you have no numbers to back up your statement. I'm shocked.

He accomplished a huge amount in a very short time. In my book everything he's done was positive and benefited the country.

I voted yes, but hero is not the word I would use.

1) Musk is a visionary who has shaken up entire industries and made the impossible seem doable. Thanks to him, electric cars went from niche to mainstream. His spacex has made landing rockets like it’s no big deal and he will probably make it to mars. With starlink, he's working to get internet to even the most remote corners of the planet. Then there are the tunnels under cities or his brain/computer tech - Musk doesn’t just talk big, he somehow makes happen. He is a genius-level organizer and arranger that comes around once in a lifetime.

2) Firing worthless government employees who create no value is always good. Doge didn't go far enough.

I could tear all of this apart and leave nothing but bloody entrails. I'll just say this: Elon Musk is (and would have been) nothing without government.

Define value. Government produced wealth for Elon Musk.

...

Examples?
Two days after tech billionaire Elon Musk left the Trump administration, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has announced the cancellation of more than half a million government credit cards amid its crackdown on federal spending. In a post on X, formerly Twitter, DOGE said it had deactivated 523,000 credit cards following a 13-week audit.

We need to ask the courts about what? Are the courts holding the savings from DOGE?
The courts have put millions in savings on hold with their "TRO's".

So what does that amount to?

Oooo that much, huh?

You'd think you'd lead with your best example, not your worst.
shrug...

All I needed to do was answer your question. I did that. AND, I shut you up.

All you have left is nonsense.

Bye.

LOL the tunnels are a hilarious thing to bring up.

He invented "a tunnel, except worse." Wow. Visionary.

Everything. It's the reason he's the richest man in the world.

Thanks for government handouts and carbon tax exchanges.

And it's the reason firing government "workers" is a net benefit.

Well if you don't believe in civilization and the means to accumulate wealth, that's quite the interesting paradox you've built for yourself.
