Polling the Right-Wing: Is Elon Musk still a Hero?

Is Elon Musk still a Hero?

This thread is mysteriously empty. Who gets the kids in this marriage between Hyper-Capitalism and Fascism? I almost respect Elon Musk for going Scorched Earth right out of the gate playing the Epstein Card. What are you hiding, Trump? At the same time, I hope Elon Musk loses every government contract and every penny. Fight fight fight!

Trump obviously holds better cards than Elon Musk. Currently. Wealth is useless without government, which Trump still wields.

Is Elon Musk still a right-wing hero? A genius? And if capitalism is a merit-based system, wouldn't he have to be? Was DOGE successful? What happened to the billions and trillions in savings? How many DOGE bucks are now in your pocket?
Musk was never a hero...he was a local American who wanted to see yours and his tax dollars well spent.

Other: Musk is right, BBB is lunacy while US already has problems with debt and sharply rising interest on that debt.

Also it is stupid to think that cutting taxes and government even more will somehow fix your problems when cutting taxes and government didn't fix your problems in the last 20 years. May be something else is the main problem?

The US doesn't have a revenue problem it has a spending problem.
But you are right..cutting taxes (which actually does increase federal revenue) will not fix any problem until the Congress and both parties stops non essential spending.

How? The taxes have been going down and down and down since the 80s non-stop but your life isn't improving is the whole MAGA argument that the economy is not servicing everyone and is servicing basically the top lets say 20% or top 1% depending on how you wanna define it.

Unless you want to re-calibrate and re-regulate how capitalism itself works then your only option is redistribution through the government to actually fix it. Take your poison. There is no talk of re-regulation and adjustment of capitalism like it was in the 30-40s and then later on with Reagan and so on. Reagans model worked because it was what was needed at the time but you can't milk the same horse forever. The model is dead.
