It seems that Americans can add "no more Obamas" to the oft-heard calls for no more Bushes or Clintons, despite the president's belief that he would be a shoo-in for a third term.

Rasmussen Reports on Friday released a poll showing that just one third of likely U.S voters would keep President Obama in office if he ran again. Even among Democrats, only 57 percent would vote for him a third time.

Sorry Obama, nobody wants you or your failed leftist policies. :2wave:

Well you can unwad your panties and quit biting your nails then.

But then he can't run again anyway so it's rather irrelavent isn't it?

OTOH he'd still beat any one of the republican contenders by a mile at this point based on current polling wouldn't he?

So you ain't got squat.

You must be peeved about BHO's statement in Africa that he thinks he could win a 3rd term.

It would all depend who runs against him.

He has already proven that he can beat Hillary.

If The Donald runs on the GOP ticket then nobody would vote for The Donald and so BHO would certainly win.

If Jeb runs on the GOP ticket then I think it would be close. Very close. Too close to call.

If not for his one eyed willy, Clinton could have won a 3rd term.

GWH Bush was essentially Reagan's 3rd term.

Ike would have also won a 3rd term.

Truman was FDR's 5th term defying all previous records.

You know you're desperate when you mock a two time democratically elected president for hypothetically not winning a third election he has no plans of running in.

And yet Obama took credit for a hypothetical third election he has no plans of running in.

Makes perfect sense.

Most adults tend to understand when people are being facetious, there are some that don't. This thread is a case of that.

Is this the same polling company that the GOP use to predict Romney's victory in 2012?

Zing !

Why can't conservatives find real reasons to criticize liberals?

Hint: they would have to exist first.

He said "I'm pretty sure ... ." and it was a joke. Meant as a joke, and it got a lot of laughs.

Not as far fetched as you might think.

The GOP ran two losers in a row with McCain and Romney. And Romney was even worse than McCain.

If The Donald ends up being the 3rd in a row, then Hillary will be in jackpot city, and the lipstick won't matter at all.

And they sure underestimated Truman. And went on to win.
Man had balls.
Fired MacArthur- the right decision.

And people were so sure Dewey would win.

Why do you source a publication that itself is using a different source? Why didn't you just source Rasmussen? Instead you sourced a conservative publication.

It's a very good thing that he cannot run again. If he could, he would win. He would then complete his pledge to transform this country.

That's right. We want those successful policies of the previous administration. Airplanes crashing into skyscrapers and the pentagon, attacking Iraq because the ones involved in 9-11 were Saudis, the economic meltdown after eight years of the bush being in the white house. The happiest days of our lives.

I think America is finished with Obama.

There were times when things like this: "Obama can't run for a third term, Republicans see it as a sign that Americans are tired of him" were just fictitious headlines made to poke fun at somewhat less hyperbolic statements from the right. Now we know that such silly methods of interpretation really do exist and the hyperbole can reach greater extremes.

He likely would. In contrast, even his ally's being sure to not be seen with him towards the end, Bush could never have said what Obama said without being laughed out of the building.

Because he only uses sources that say what he wants them to say?

As usual, the OP fails to discuss the "context" of the President's remarks.

Challenging the African Presidents that they can't be "President for Life".

Context is a foreign term to our GOPosters with ODS .
