I would agree that abortion should be available in most cases.

That said, OP and the article are misleading. A better way to put it is that 40% think that abortion should not be available in most case. I find it interesting that the poll itself breaks out the number of those who are opposed to abortion in all cases but does not break out the corresponding number, who think that abortion should available in all cases.

The poll was paid for by, "Texas Freedom Network, Planned Parenthood Texas Votes, AVOW, ACLU of Texas, Progress Texas, and Deeds Action Fund." It's not necessarily weighted to give a specific outcome, but such things are possible, and this is not an impartial group.

I've been to Texas many times. I've been to Wyoming a few times. Same with the Dakotas.

No one can pay me enough to move to those places.

There is a reason why Wyoming and the Dakotas have low populations. Very few people want to live there.

And another eye opening part of that poll was 9 out of 10 surveyed also agree that Texas politicians are out of touch with their electorate.
Will that make any difference to Republicans?
I doubt it.
Republicans seen to only want to rule over people, not govern them.
And sadly they do not know the difference.

Are you referencing the uptick in GOP support among Hispanic voters? Democrats have been bleeding Hispanic support. I think immigration plays a part in that for sure. But, a big part of that support is the way the GOP messages around the economy. And in Florida the way they message around socialism.
