Oh yeah I'm sure israel is willing to lose as many lives as it would take to wipe out Iran.:roll:

israel fights with it's mouth in Washington, not with the strength of a bayonet. They pretend they have a warrior culture but they don't and they never will because they don't believe in anything greater than themselves. Self sacrifice is integral to the true soldier, a concept that israelis have nothing but contempt for. There is such a thing as being too good at survival of the self

100% nonsense. In the example of an Israeli invasion Iran would F--K Israel up. Their air power can't even take out Iran's nascent nuke program

I don't think it's much of a deal if there are four Americans still being held in Iran. Remember Robert Levinson? Pastor Abedini? Marine Amir Hekmati and Vahid Salemi?

Why should we allow hostage negotiations to become mixed up in the negotiations over Iran's nuclear program?

Jews are the one people towards which anybody can express utter hatred up to and including the desire for their genocide, and there will always be a ready-made contingent of people defending them on boards such as this, who then turn around and attack whoever uses the term antisemitic to describe the things.

I recall a thread posted by a revolting subhuman some time back that called for the complete elimination of any and all restrictions on hunting down and killing Jews. One poster active in this thread actually hit the likes button for it.

80 million people, one of the youngest demographics in the region, most of which want to migrate into the twenty first century. But never mind.

That's pretty sick the poster and the guy who liked it should have been banned. That said criticism of Israel does not equate anti-Semitism.

The polls you linked are, AGAIN, old polls. the Newest poll on that list July 12. They had poll results on that as old as April. All of them were before the deal was ever made. They were polls for "a deal", not this deal.

The actual link to the polls the WaPo article was using as a really lame reference.

Well I suspect that much like ronnie ray gun arms for hostages deal the repatriation of $150B of their own money will lead to a satisfactory outcome in that regard.

I posted the newest polls available and this is the same deal outlined and described to Americans since last year. I don't see much change happening in newer polls when they come out.
American's want something done about Iran that is not another war. This agreement gives it to them.

If you would ask any of the Israelis on this site, I'm sure they would find something to criticize about their government.

The large majority of haters do not limit themselves to criticizing Israeli government, however, as there have been scores of posters who delegitimize Israel's very existence, who defend the use of terrorism against innocent Jews, who spin classic canards about Jews being puppet masters who pull the strings of others, and who who never do anything BUT demonize anything associated with Israel.

They are antisemites just as surely as people are racists if they constantly hammer home themes of innate criminality of black people, seek to deny equal treatment for blacks, create double standards for judging black people and who never acknowledge even so much as a single good thing about them.

The only difference is that the large majority of the antisemites on this board have been left wing, whereas the anti-black racists are pretty much all right wing.

Lets see what happens then talk about it. I want something done too but it is way different than this agreement. I say we unleash the Israelis. So many problems would be solved.

I think, or rather I hope, that we are getting tired of the Hawk's quagmire they've caused and the neigh 14 years of war they waged which has solved nothing and only made the situation worse. Iran isn't exactly trustworthy, but then again, neither is our own government. We need something to move forward, however, as it is clear that imperial warfare is not the solution. We'll see how this current deal turns out, maybe we can start moving towards peace at some point.

No....no they would't. Israel can't even solve it's problem with the Palestinians that has been going on for decades now. Israel knows how to poke a hornets nest and hide behind the US; that's about it.

Israel is poking the hornet's nest??? Are yoully not familiar with the Koran ir the teachings of young Palestinians about Israel?

It is a culture of hate, and their behavior, standard of living and education reflects that.
