So, Giffords is going to spend $15 MILLION to support Kamala and the party of gun control. They are out spending the NRA and NSSF by a wide margin.

I wonder if any resident gun prohibitionists will complain about politicians being bought and paid for by Giffords? Who am I kidding. Of course not.

Plus, Gabbie’s hubby Mark Kelly is being proposed as a possible Kamala VP pick. Seems a bit of a quid-pro-quo is going on based on this $15 million contribution.

So? We live in the era of Citizens United. Funding for causes is the norm now.

The Gun Control Industry.

True. I am just waiting for those that condemn the NRA and NSSF to chime in that this is OK.

That (bolded above) is rarely seen as a problem unless the financial support is for the ‘wrong’ candidate or policy position.

Do you have a point here? For 50 years the NRA has been the most powerful lobby group on the hill. Even more so than the farmers.

So ads don’t influence your vote? Guess you are immune to the advertising industry.

Actually, the NRA was never the most powerful lobby group on the hill. That is just gun control propaganda.

My point is whether the folks who condemn pro-2A politicians as “bought and paid for by the NRA” will condemn this action by the other side. I doubt they will since Giffords supports the gun prohibitionist position.

Facts.

NRA not even in top 50.

Let go of your hatred for personal freedom and stop watching MSNBC and reading Daily Kos.

I give them condemnation because they don't support changes that would reduce the number of school shootings.

Like armed security staff?
Allowing every teacher who wants to (not required to) and completes training to carry?

Actual effective regulation like that?

Like sensible gun control.

We don't need children being traumatized by their school's being an armed camp.

Like sensible gun control.
Please define what you mean by”sensible” gun control.

1) Concealed carry means the students don’t know who is carrying.
2) Don’t you want our children protected as well as our politicians.
3) What is more traumatizing? See an armed guard or being shot?

Check your other link. The one with a date.
The NRA has fallen on hard times recently, thank God.
Still don’t see the NRA on that list. Seems to contradict your statement.

The proposals here: https://giffords.org/lawcenter/gun-laws/ (See links on bottom of page).

You are asking the wrong question with #3. The correct question is why kids aren't safe due to so many guns in the environment?

Not one of those will stop a crazy person from shooting up a school. All those do is infringe on the rights of Americans.

What aren’t kids safe? Because people refuse to protect them at least as well as our politicians.

Since FL implemented the school Guardian program in the wake of the Parkland shooting, 43 of 67 counties have implemented armed school guardians. Not one of those schools has had a mass shooting event.

Lol
Look again or read about it here.
"The five biggest spenders in lobbying last year, in descending order, were the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of Realtors, Blue Cross Blue Shield, the American Hospital Association and the Pharmaceutical Research & Manufacturers of America."

Weird. Just weird.

Obviously it will, we know that due to rates in other countries. You are just knowingly lying and letting kids die because you like guns.

If armed people are needed AT ALL in the environment, then they are not safe. That is one of the basic criteria for safety is having such an environment where guns are not necessary, even defensively.

Your quote.

  1. U.S. Chamber of Commerce
  2. National Association of Realtors
  3. Blue Cross Blue Shield
  4. American Hospital Association
  5. Pharmaceutical Research & Manufacturers of America

Are you confusing the NAR (National Association of Realtors) with the National Rifle Association (NRA)?
