OOOORRRRR a wannabee cop, little big man got a face full of reality intruding into his fantasy hero world AFTER being told to NOT follow a kid, and instead of fighting- screamed panicked and shot. Zimmerman was getting a first class ass whipping from a high school kid just like in high school. There was only one weapon at that fight, many an asswhipping gets handed out to ignorant fools who want to play Barney Fife. Zimmerman was lucky in many ways.

And three scumbags shot a man because they were bored...

Either way the 'lets see how the media/Sharpton play this' crowd is way off base and stinks to high hell....even for Con rhetoric... eace

I spoke a basic truth. You are the one that **** yourself rushing in to pretend race doesnt matter here and that there isnt a racial double standard when it comes to reporting.

By all means...tell us (without the benefit of google) what you know about Christopher Newsom and Channon Christian and then tell us why that wasnt a national news spectacle.

I'm not pretending there's no double standard, what I'm saying is that the race baiting comes from both sides. Just becuase it's your side here doesn't make it OK.

The only reason ANY of it EVER becomes national news is because people choose to make it so. Its EASY to make a poor cute little 9 year old the victim of a racially motivated shooting where no justice is forthcoming the face of a year long outrage...except of course...it wasnt the cute little 9 year old they showed us that got shot and the circumstances werent exactly innocent. And yet...it became a national news story. oh the horror. But when the perps are black...well...the story loses its fizzle. We saw the same thing here on this site not too long ago when the first openly gay mayoral candidate in mississippi was murdered...MURDERED! Outrage, I tells ya! Tragic hate crime! Why we need to protest and riot and...wait...what was that? Oh...the killer was black? Oh...****...never mind...nothing to see here...move along...

You have zero credibility if you bang the drum for one but not the other.

I'm tired of that, too.

Having a dad doesn't mean anything - weren't we just discussing in another thread how children are often seen as a nuisance, and yet in another how parents aren't involved in their kid's lives like they should be.

Having a dad doesn't mean a damn thing, just like having a mom doesn't mean a damn thing, either. You have to have one or both parents give a damn.

Are we still talking about the OP's case? What makes you think that it was three black kids? I read in one account saying that it was 2 black kids and one white kid in the car at the time of the shooting. I am not sure of the race of the trigger boy yet but tend to hold all in the car equally accountable and think that they should be tried as adults. Execution, even of a "random" stranger, is still a "big boy" crime.

First Zimmerman wasn't pudgy until he needed to look pathetic for the trial, next Zimmerman stalked the kid with ZERO probable cause, instead of fighting Zimmerman screamed like a little girl, and took a regular ass whipping for stalking a kid who was doing nothing wrong and then shot the kid. FYI we don't have anyone's complete witness to the events except Zimmerman.

Now tell me again what the Initials NAACP stand for? Seems to me some in here have it bassakwards. the 73% of this nation tend to have plenty of advocates, NO ONE in the NGO sector is obliged to be EVERYONE's advocate all the time.

To attempt to claim otherwise is pathetic... eace

Trayvon was stalked by Zimmerman, I wonder how eager some Cons would be to defend the shooter if it was a black man stalking a white kid?
