Pence Slammed for Not Briefing Legal Authorities Regarding Jan 6th

The VP of the USA can't be subpoenaed for testimony regarding conversations with the President.

I'm reminded of Gomer Pyle...

EXECUTIVE PRIVILEGE!!
EXECUTIVE PRIVILEGE!!

Wrong......even if he claims executive privilege it does not apply to criminal or potentially activity. Just ask Nixon.

wrong = no executive privilege available
The news revealed there are legal channels to get around executive privilege ....... legitimately.

MIke Pence = weasel

seems that way.

he should not have admitted committing a crime in his book = more than likely this man is DOA.

Hard to understand how one can write about his experiences in a book and then refuse to speak of them under oath. He will be testfying just a matter of when. I hope the courts expedite.

As an aside looks like Smith is firing on all cylinders.

I'm not sure this is true, but it is surely irrelevant even if so, since Kamala Harris is the Vice President of the United States, and Joseph Biden is the President. Mike Pence is not identical to Kamala Harris, and in any event, it seems unlikely that anyone is going to be asking Mike Pence about conversations he might have had with Biden on January 6th.

That would be for the POTUS to decide.
I think that's correct, and the FPOTUS has very limited legal options to prevent it. I've learned to be hesitant in asserting anything about legalities where Trump is concerned, as his attorneys regularly pull a strategy seemingly out of the eighth circle of hell, but most of his attempts the last few years seem to have fizzled.
