Paul Manafort and the "Swamp"

Long article but interesting read. It details the rise of Paul Manafort and his consulting firm. I always found it interesting that all this talk about the swamp and one of the orchestrators of the "Swamp" was a key member on the Trump team. Roger Stone played a large part in building the Swamp as well and went into business with Manafort.

While corruption has always existed in DC or any capital city to some extent, it was Manafort and later Jack Abramoff that created the situation we now find the capital in.

Trump concluded that he had been away from the Swamp long enough to not be a part of the Swamp.

I dont have an opinion on whether he was right.
