We're back in the Muslim groove:




Trumped-up charges of 'religiously aggrevated harassment' were used to cage a mosque protestor.

People are annoyed at the whole affair. Nearby churches crumble for lack of funds, the neighbouring butcher shop soon closed during the mosque's construction and the word is that our eyesore totem to Islamic supremacism was indeed built on land the council decreed out of bounds to other developers.

Further facts also show that certain people have got the give-away concession again, with millions of local taxpayer Pounds earmarked to fund it!

The spittle-flecked ranting jingoistic patriot crap doesn't fly for most Britons, who are far too sensible. As for the EDL, the vast majority of Brits have no desire whatever to join a bunch of fascist racist football hooligan thugs.

Your links present no evidence that any funding for the mosque has come from the public purse. On the contrary, your links demonstrate that private donations are not enabling the mosque to be completed which is what most people are not happy about.

One of your links to a Casuals blog raised alarm bells. You understand that "Casuals" are organised football hooligans on a par with the EDL whom you are now sympathising with?

I don't call that no evidence that the taxpayers are being taken for steamers. And the council have been been known to dish out copious grants to Muslims so I have no doubt the new mosque and minaret will also have its funds topped-up in due course in one way or another. People must be soft if they think that 'ordinary' Muslims can raise 3 Million Quid without help from 'big' Muslims like the Saudis.

What they gonna do? Hold a jumble sale?

So evidence constitutes an article in a newspaper that is referred to by an editorial on a blog site for a wholly disreputable organisation called Casuals United which is reporting on a blog set up by local residents opposed to the Mosque. The same article in the Reading based newspaper goes on to neither confirm or deny that any funding has been offered to build the Mosque. If you are so concerned you could perhaps approach Reading Council and ask them for details of the land lease arrangement and their history on giving grants to religious organisations?

So now it is not just Reading Council in on this conspiracy it is also big Saudi money?

I linked to the paper article too, which was reprinted verbatim on the blog.

The Reading paper probably couldn't get any extra info anyway. With relatives in the council I know trying to get even basic information out of anybody there is like trying to get blood from a stone.

The Mosque Watch blog had its own trouble enough getting what details it could from the Council, possibly because if it's capable of spending 5 Million quid on its THIRD Town Hall in 30 years then it's probably got plenty of other splurging it won't reveal unless it has to. In court probably and nobody's going to spend all their hard-earned cash on learning about tax money we all know is over-charged and over-wasted in this town.

And the Saudis? It doesn't have to be them, it could be anybody with big money. The paper also doesn't reveal how the Muslims are going to pay for this. And they can't, as it's still a building site even now.

I oppose the use of public funds for ANY religious purposes but I will not get into bed with racists and football hooligans in order to oppose it.
