Rick Wilson, who co-founded The Lincoln Project, argued in a new Substack essay that Bondi displayed "performative outrage" during the hearing. She vociferously attacked Democratic Senators who asked questions about President Donald Trump's efforts to hide the Jeffrey Epstein files and deploy federal troops to Democratic-run states and cities.

"Today’s Senate Judiciary performance wasn’t testimony; it was crude, overacted scenery-chewing regional dinner theater for the Trump base, a MAGA striptease dance of performative outrage and imaginary grievance where facts went to die and the only rule is 'Never let the truth stand in the way of fellating Trump’s revenge fantasies and galactic ego,'" Wilson wrote.

Meh.

GIGO

That is all these Congressional hearings are.

All part and parcel of the Trump reality show presidency. His entire administration was picked for their ability to make outrageous headlines and troll their political opponents. They are not serious adults.

Senators communicate via fake outrage. Pam is just emulating their communication style.

BREAKING: Attorney General Pam Bondi gives a SHOCKING answer under oath when asked about the $50,000 bribe that Border Czar Tom Homan was caught taking from undercover FBI agents.

This one left onlookers speechless…

"What became of the $50,000 in cash that the FBI paid to Mr. Homan in a paper bag, evidently?" Senator Sheldon Whitehouse asked Bondi during a Senate Judiciary Committee heating.

"Senator, as Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche recently stated, the investigation of Mr. Homan was subjected to a full review by the FBI, agents, and DOJ prosecutors," Bondi claimed. "They found no credible evidence of any wrongdoing."

“And that was not my question. My question was, what became of the $50,000 in cash that the FBI delivered, evidently in a paper bag, to Mr. Homan?" pressed Whitehouse.

"Senator, I'd look at your facts," Bondi said.

"Are you saying that they did not deliver $50,000 in cash to Mr. Homan?" Whitehouse asked.

"Senator, as recently stated, the investigation of Mr. Homan was subjected to a full review by the FBI agents, by Department of Justice prosecutors," said Bondi, avoiding the question.

"That's a different question. What became of the $50,000? Did the FBI get it back?" said Whitehouse. "Can't you answer this question?"

According to reporting from MSNBC, the FBI recorded Homan in Texas accepting $50,000 in cash after he indicated that he could help the agents, who he believed to be business executives, win lucrative government contracts during the second Trump administration.

Prosecutors were considering bringing four different charges against Homan, but wanted to wait until he assumed office following a Trump victory. However, the case stalled out once Trump was sworn. This administration is fine with corruption so long as it's carried out by loyal MAGA foot soldiers.

Rather than answer the question — and risk damaging Homan by telling the truth or risk perjuring herself by lying about the FBI sting — Bondi told Whitehouse to speak to FBI Director Kash Patel.

"Did Homan keep the $50,000?" Whitehouse doggedly asked.

"You know, you're very concerned about money and people taking money, and you rail against dark money," Bondi said tepidly. "Yet you work with dark money groups all the time, Senator Whitehouse."

Obviously, Whitehouse’s opposition to dark money is one thing, his acceptance of legal campaign contributions is another, and Tom Homan accepting $50,000 in a dirty bag is another altogether. Bondi’s whataboutism was as dishonest as it was pathetic.

To point out the incredibly obvious, this is the Attorney General of the United States, our highest law enforcement official. She should be deeply concerned about a blatant bribery scandal by another top official. Instead, she’s refusing to give a straight answer and covering up yet another crime. Unfortunately, this behavior is unsurprising coming from the woman overseeing the Jeffrey Epstein coverup.

Whitehouse went on to ask if Homan declared the $50,000 as income to the IRS, prompting Bondi to baselessly accuse the senator himself of “corruption.”

“Questions here are actually pretty specific," Whitehouse persisted. "So having you respond with completely irrelevant far-right internet talking points really is not very helpful here."

"What happened to the $50,000?" he aaked. "Did Homan keep it? Did the FBI get it back? If he kept it, did he put it on his tax returns? Pretty simple questions."

At this point, we can only conclude that not only did Homan take the bribe, but he was allowed to keep it. When Democrats take back power they must investigate this travesty of justice, prosecute those involved, and lock them up for a very long time.

My wife was listening to her and I overheard it. That woman always sounds like the meanest, most aggressive cougar in the bar upset that she can't get any action anymore.

It’s amazing that a so-called Attorney General would have to be told this, but Dick Durbin did make Bondi shut up with her condescending act for at least a moment.

“To flag records which included his name?” Durbin asked.

Bondi bristled as she answered, “I’m not going to discuss anything about that with you, senator.”

Durbin replied, “Eventually you’re going to have to answer for your conduct in this, you won’t do it today, but eventually you will.”

When the Democrats are back in power, I’ll want to see a conga line of Bondi, Patel, Noem, Homan, Kennedy, and Miller, just to name a few, marching in front of enough congressional hearings to make their heads spin, then convene enough grand juries to nail them all for lying to Congress. I want their lives to be turned upside down, thousands of times worse than what they’ve done to Comey, except I’d be particularly disappointed if the government doesn’t squeeze in those perp walks for each and every one of them.

They've passed a FY2026 budget already?

Bondi's only qualification for her job is her slavish loyalty to Trump. You watched her play to her strength.

Bondi lied enough to grab her a few years and loss of her legal license.

I look forward to it.

Does Trump have immunity for killing all those Venezuelans off their coast?

They've passed a FY2026 budget already?
I don't believe so. They passed only a 6 week CR. And I guarantee in November, if government isn't still closed, another short CR will be offered up. By then, MJ will send them on another one or two month vacation.

Sackless cuck Mike Johnson is afraid to bring Congress back in session.
You should be asking him.
The Epstein issue really has the repukes in pretzel form. Johnson can't figure it out so he leaves the house closed and is badly disrupting a dem congresswoman and her families life.

He's low life republican scum. The entire country knows it.
