Pakistani baby accused of attempted murder

Clearly guilty.

Completely ridiculous. Still, nothing would surprise me there. Corruption in Pakistan is widespread amongst the government and police forces.

At least he was granted bail.

They must have a zero tolerance policy for rock throwing.

Good point.
On the one hand, can a nine-month old baby even throw a rock?
On the other hand, you have to nip this sort of behavior in the bud.
Clearly, the kid baby is hanging with a bad crowd...
Sure, he looks all innocent, but this sort of anti-social behavior is just how Osama bin Laden got his start.

If I didn't know better, I would think the story is a total joke. Sadly, it is not a joke.

Some little kids bite and pinch, which hurts a lot more than getting hit by something they sling with uncoordinated little arms. Gee. Are they going charge babies with assault and attempted murder for biting and pinching next.

WTF. I suppose this could be about zero tolerate and setting an example when it comes to gas officials.

Oh, definitely.
If you let the kid slide on this incident, where will it end?
I can just hear all the other 9 month olds...." Gaga goo goo baba doodoo"--translated "Well, Mohammed gets to attempt murder, why don't I?"
Next thing you know, nurseries and pre-schools are being terrorized by rebelling curtain-climbers.
I've seen it happen a million times.

I should start calling the cops on babies for noise complaints and disturbing the peace. I wonder how that will work out.

This proves that you can't just make this stuff up.

Spare the rod---or in this case, the life sentence--, spoil the child.
Mark my words....if this kid beats the rap, we'll see him on a future episode of "Cops".

His lawyers should demand a mental compentancy test to see if the lttle fella is even fit for trial.

At least in America, he could take the fifth until he learns to talk.

I cannot be the only person who read this thread and thought of the Simpsons episode where Maggie almost killed Mr. Burns.

He'll probably team up with the little terrorist with her bubble gun.

I do not think it is cruel enough.

Cops now days will simply shoot the kid and say it made a threatening move...

Got sources?
I think it was sarcasm relating to how US police will raid a house and routinely shoot people's dogs without legitimate provocation then make up a standard "I felt threatened" story afterward to justify it.

Thanks.

This though makes sense. A do could be a threat. A normal unarmed teen should not be a threat to a cop.
