While it should be obviously that one person's view doesn't represent the whole, calling the whole patriots is quite over the top. Call a spade a spade. Call them protesters.

Like that guy... Or how about the ones who hurt the old lady in DC... How about the patriots who not only raped women, but a handicapped man... how about the ones who have destroyed property... How about those patriotic Jew bashers... And the list goes on, and on, and on, and on, and on.....

Or how about those nice people who just feel like this is the only way they can have their voice be heard? That vastly outnumber the people you mentioned, but they don't get mentioned by the news, nor do they help you justify your political beliefs so they get dismissed in your head. No matter what you think about their politics most of the people in these protests are good people who are feed up with the situation and are doing one of the only things they know to do when they think they aren't being represented.

Thank you, Your Star, those people are indeed patriots. Of course the Right Wing will focus on the very small number that cause problems - they always do.

Here's the problem I have... When idiots infiltrated the Tea Party, the Tea Party people told them to take a hike and that they were not welcome at their events... That is not the case with the OWS protests. The protesters seem to welcome these nuts with open arms. If people like the man in the video do NOT represent them, then why don't they come out and say so? Why don't they tell these people to go get stuffed?

It's probably because it isn't as organized as the tea party is/was, and it's not like they can shoo people off of a public park, or where ever they are protesting.The protesting that the main group is participating in leads itself to people latching on to get media attention, and various trouble makers an excuse to cause a raucous. It's not that they are accepting of the bad behavior it's just that there protests are in public, which allow anybody to attend them, and since they are staying there it just elevates the likely hood for things to unintentionally go wrong. It has nothing to do with their politics like you would like to make it out to be. You are doing the exact same thing that people did to the tea party a few years ago, you know. I hope you understand the irony here.
 
This pisses me off. That's why I am liquidating all of my assets and giving them all to my employer so they can give me a job. I encourage anyone who loves their country to do the same!

Yes they can, if what those nuts were saying actually bothered them. It's obvious to me, that nuts that guy really don't bother them much.

It's simple... If they feel these people do not speak for them and their message is being hijacked, then step up and say so, as well as do something about it... Two things that I haven't seen happen.

You can make excuses all day, but actions speak louder than words and I aint seen much in the way of action from any of them.

Ive read it twice.. Someone asked you what your point was and you just ignored them... The point i got from it is that all OWS protesters are bad cuz some individuals did bad things....
