'Openly Admitting': Critics Rip Trump For 'Dehumanizing' Sunday Night Announcement

I didn’t say we shouldn’t change our “Right to Work” laws. I’m suggesting these people aren’t our problem. They are working, generally law abiding, and trying to stay off law enforcement’s radar. Not get on it.
I take it your answer to my question is "yes"?

My roof was just redone. I doubt even close to 10% (one of the 10 - the foreman) that showed up of the workforce the US citizen contractor were documented. Almost none of them spoke English well enough to communicate in it. Just the foreman. They all spoke Spanish. They seemed to be Central American. They were polite. Efficient. The roof was done in two days, and they were on their way.

So are claiming this crew was all picked up at Home Depot that morning and they are day laborers?

Are you claiming that Americans can't or won't do that work?

Did you exploit them or did the contractor?

In other words did he lower his price and underbid other American contractors using foreign under the table labor?
Did he charge you full price and just pocket the difference by exploiting them or did you pocket the difference by paying a lower price on under the table labor that likely worked for cash off the books and paid no taxes and so on?

Who paid all the taxes on that foreign labor, especially the taxes that will need to be funding Social Security, Federal Taxes and so on?

You might want to rethink the high ground you just assigned yourself here.

These Radical Left Democrats are sick of mind, hate our Country, and actually want to destroy our Inner Cities — And they are doing a good job of it! There is something wrong with them.- Donald Trump

People vote what they see and hear, not what the pundits gaslight them about the state of our cities.
I see you are trying the propaganda route. Good luck with that.

The narrative media is upset about something Trump said?

What a surprise!

Trump is promising to restore American cities. The people that live in them and are citizens will appreciate that.

The ivory tower former narrative shapers and peddlers can go kick rocks. There's no gates for them to keep and no one watches or listens to them anymore.

Well except for the OP and a few people on here of course. They need their daily rage news.
Trump also promised lower food prices, gas would be cut in half and the war between Russia and Ukraine will end on day one. How's that stuff going so far? Trump is promising, that's a laugh. What's an even bigger laugh is the fact that the tons of things he's promised and didn't do and you still believe him, that's sad.

His feelings are hurt because of the protests.

The protests got under his skin and this is how he’s going to lash out.

He’s completely pathetic…and predictable 🤷‍♀️
Nobody showed up to his parade.

Is it those people taking that work at rates imposed by driven need that lower standards for everyone else, or those taking advantage of those needs to take advantage and offering work at below fair wages?

I didn’t hire the contractor. Those that the HOA hired to manage such things did. Seems a good probability though.

Are you claiming that Americans can't or won't do that work?

Most won’t at the wages paid the undocumented.

Did you exploit them or did the contractor?

The contractor. I’m three steps removed from the process. I pay the HOA. The HOA hires a management firm. The management firm hires the contractor.

I don’t care much for the management company. I don’t think they are totally on the level. If I was younger and healthier I’d be on the HOA board but my life revolves around trying to manage my major health issues and helping my wife manage hers.

Who paid all the taxes on that foreign labor, especially the taxes that will need to be funding Social Security, Federal Taxes and so on?

Those are good and appropriate questions and if I knew the answers I’d tell you.

You might want to rethink the high ground you just assigned yourself here.

I didn’t assign myself anything. You made assumptions.

It is a market issue, not a fault issue. When you add something to the market in terms of lower labor costs, it effects the labor expectations for everyone. This wasn't an assignment of blame, rather a fact to acknowledge.

Is you deport immigrants who are doing the jobs then who exactly do you plan to hire because American citizens will not do the same agribusiness jobs for the wage being paid?

So construction will just stop if we don't have illegals LOL
Stay focused, please.

Q to you: How many U.S. citizens are waiting outside of Home Depots and Loews to get below union wages construction gigs? Who are these folks disenfranchising?

You: The ones that construction would hire if they couldn't get those cheaper guys

Me: So, nobody then. That's the point.

Try again. Make sense this time.

You don't seem to be getting it. Try again

Well first of all the discussion was construction.

If Americans wanted those jobs they can wait at Lowe's and Home Depot as well.

I worked as an architectural designer for a decade. I know how the business runs. Immigrants are the backbone of many crews.

Trump and co will manage the next elections, like Orban.
