Opening statements.[W:458]

The prosecution is setting up a visual of a man that was overly-zealous. They're playing the long game. The defense is trying to stamp out every little brush fire they see, ignoring the huge forest fire ahead of them.
Unfortunately you are wrong.
Each 'stamping out' prevents a fire from even growing.

I wonder how many more witnesses the prosecution is going top call to support the defense?

Except for the fact Z chased the person.
Except that isn't a fact, but bias.

They talked about it on the ClickOrlando livefeed a few minutes before I posted it.

Looks like Obrian (HOA Prez) is making it clear to the jurors Z was a self motivated one man police department, including enforcing the parking rules.

:doh
Apparently not.

1. Doesn't matter if GZ was meek. He would not have chased an adult male, but he would chase a black kid.

2. Why did GZ decline? Couldn't be that he tried twice and failed...his debt being an issue as police conduct a credit check....no no he was just meek:roll:

And meek people NEVER go for their guns when threatened.

The analysts are anticipating W8 next. Just their guess, but basing it on the case going poorly for the prosecutors so far today. Get some momentum back.

Making up ****, again?

Wouldnt put much stock into the livefeed comments as they are not very reliable.

W8 will do damage to the state not to defense counsel

The state should avoid using this unsavory individual

It's pretty clear from the nen call Z was anticipating Z running which is why he got his flashlight and had his truck turned off.
So a person doesn't turn their vehicle off when they get out to find an address when there was just a suspicious person in the area?
Riiiiiiiiiiiiggggggggghhhhhhhhtttttt! :doh

I would never say they are 100%, but I find it reasonable to listen to successful attorneys to get their take. Apparently you do not like that. Shrug.

He was chasing a kid. Facts are facts. Care to provide evidence he was not chasing a kid, and chased adults?

Profiling, following.....hell, let's throw in some pursuing

Not illegal means Z broke no law.

No law broken...no jail time

No law needed to be broken. Per the evidence, Trayvon Martin was in reasonable fear.

Specify/break down your evidence of M's fear?

Bring it on and let's analyze it

Didn't GZ mention that he feared Martin as Martin was circling his vehicle when he was on the phone with dispatchers?

Being scared or being apprehensive differs from being in fear of serious bodily harm or death

The term/concept *contemporaneous* (applicable to self defense) will play an important point in all of this

I pointed out a couple of weeks ago Mortimer does not understand the SD law as well as he claimed and generally it is a very pro Z feed which is fine but not a reliable source.

The totality of his actions prove he was the aggressor which means he provoked the fight. It is impossible to provoke violence and not violate the law.
