One simple amendment that could ensure we never have to suffer through another horrendous administration like the one we have right now:
A panel of intersectionality and social justice scholars from each state shall have the opportunity to veto by a simple majority any president chosen by the electoral college deemed to be too bigoted for the office, and replaced with the winner of the second-highest number of electoral votes
Imagine the America we could have if it weren't so hard to change the sacred "kawnstitution" given to us by the right wing's great founding father gods on Mount Olympus.

Getting rid of the EC would work, too.

I would also suggest that we reserve seats in congress for Black people and Native Americans, similarly to how New Zealand reserves parliament seats for the Maori. This would help to guarantee a certain degree of representation for minorities in America.

People continually get upset and want the constitution changed to make their lives better. But the constitution is one of the things that's helped each of us become what we are today and allowed the US to be the greatest country on the planet. If you're not happy, it's not the constitution, it's you.

That's illegal.
It should be made legal. In fact, I would go further, and assign each seat in congress to a specific racial group, so that the proportions of senators and representatives from each race match up to their percentage of the total American population. Similarly to how the number of House seats are assigned to each state by population.

not necessarily,
what should happen is get rid of all the " winner take all " states
as it is now most states are "winner take all " this means that if a state has just 1 more person vote for one candidate over the other almost one half of the states pop. votes might as well not been cast
now if it was counted by Congressional districts , one dist. one vote , ex if a state has 27 Congressional dist. and as it is now if 14 of them vote for one person all the votes go to that person, if it was by dist. then the 13 dist.that voted the " lesser " candidate would get those votes and the " Winner " would get 14 votes
this way every bodies vote is counted
and seeing there are 2 votes every state gets they could go to the " winner " of that state
yes as it is now if there are say 1 million voters in a state and one candidate gets 500,001 votes that candidate get all their states votes , so the 499,999 other voters of that state are not having their votes go to the person they wanted
Keep the EC but not as it is now " winner take all " but congressional dist.
Have a nice day
Until it don't and then you'll be screaming that we need the EC, again. :lamo
