One of the next investigations is Senile Joe’s bungling of the Afghanistan pullout.

Taken the advice of the Pentagon to keep the airbase open till all Americans and our Afghani supporters were out.
What will an investigation reveal? Biden disagreed with the Pentagon. He's CIC. So what? We don't need an investigation to know this.

Only that it must be hard for you commies to face the truth. But other than that, nope.

There's the Commie slur. See, you just needed a little prompting. 😊

For having never served, you sure do take every opportunity to be outraged over military themed subjects.

Me thinks thou dost………
Hey, I drove a car that said "US Army. For official use only" on the front doors. With a Bird Colonel in the back seat.

Trump agreed to shut it down.

Why didn't Trump take the advice of the Pentagon?

Biden was just honoring the agreement Trump made.

Any investigation into this will go far worse for Trump then Biden.
Yep. I can't wait. The Crazy Caucus is batting .000 so far. They have no shame, so embarrassment isn't punitive, but that won't stop the Democrats from making fools of them.

Trump said he would react to conditions on the ground. BZZZZZZT. Sorry. Wrong answer.
Trump wanted to immediately withdraw all U.S. military service members from Afghanistan and Somalia following his election loss in November’ ‘20.

Not the only time Trump’s impetuousness and recklessness had be pushed back on by military leadership.

I’m interested in an objective review of our exit from Afghanistan. No arguing, there were a number of wrong/stupid moves that contributed to the unacceptable deaths of U.S. service members and Afghan civilians.

Too bad, there’s zero chance of Republicans being objective.
Do you think the Democrats would be objective? Or if it is even possible to find a group of people to objectively evaluate the withdrawal? Objectivity has been on the decline for the last 30 years

Yeah, that the same thing!

Do you ever tire of this:

This should be as good as the Jan 6 fiasco. Stay tuned!
Billions of dollars in equipment left behind and total disregard of Pentagon advice to keep Bagram air base open.
But that’s Scarecrow Joe. If he only had a brain. So sad.
.

He got us out of a 20-year war. Unless you're arguing to go back into Afghanistan, maybe have a nice big cup of (four letters).

Colonel Sanders? Was Trump back there too?

"I'm not just an overrated general. I'm the most overrated general," said Mattis. "I'm honored to be considered that by Donald Trump because he also called Meryl Streep an overrated actress. So I guess I'm the Meryl Streep of generals, and frankly that sounds pretty good to me."

Okay, hold on...

"You do have to admit that between me and Meryl, at least we've had some victories" continued Mattis. "I earned my spurs on the battlefield, Donald Trump earned his spurs in a letter from a doctor."

"I think the only person in the military that Mr. Trump doesn't think is overrated is... Colonel Sanders."

:LOL::LOL::LOL:

Very sadly, true that there are few Dems or Republicans that inspire much confidence in their objectivity among others outside their own parties nowadays.

I believe the best chance for a fair/objective investigation and review would be in the Senate. There’s no chance at all of a fair/objective investigation and review in the House, run by a feckless election denier.

Oh---you want to go back to Afghan> ?? The pullout was right and a success. Biden had the guts to do what 4 other presidents were afraid to..................give us a break...

Of course. Everything is Trump's fault, right?

Trump said he would react to conditions on the ground. BZZZZZZT. Sorry. Wrong answer.
Trump inked a deal with the Taliban in Feb 2020 to be out by May 2021. When he left office at the end of Jan 2021, how much equipment etc had been recovered, and what logistics process for removal already existed and was under way for that massive task????? You aren't getting a change in govt and 20 years of equipment back to the US in 4 months (Feb to May) unless the process had started as soon as Trump inked the deal. Bottom line is that Trump is full of "I would have done it better" when he in fact created the damn problem. SOP for Trump is to claim he can perform miracles when he knows he will never have to prove that he can. Lots of hat and no cattle.

Anyway, tell us all how much equipment had been recovered by Trump in the nearly 12 months that he had after inking the deal??

Good it should be looked into it was botched
And just what would yoou have done differently, really, since the deal had already been in place even before Biden came into office?

Psst lean in close I got a secret to tell you, this thread isn’t about what Chill did to screw up the withdrawal it is about investigating what Biden did to screw it up. The question you should be asking is what could Biden have done differently and had better results

I'm curious what our battalion of leftist veterans here think. @armycowboy, how about it?
I don't believe you started this thread with any purpose of intellectual honesty. Pretty much like every thread you start here or any response you offer to existing threads.

Not an answer.

Well, if you're interested in the entire plan to withdraw from Afghanistan, starting with the Doha Agreement everything that played out afterward, then you need to rewind before this administration. Do you think it will be as good as the Twitter hearing?
