Jake Sullivan is now trying to rewrite history to say that he and the Biden administration were against this genocide and against arming Israel. Rats fleeing from a sinking ship.

The importance of having a moral compass is that it guides you towards the correct positions, even when they are unpopular. It's easy to adopt correct positions when you have the world behind you and when you no longer have the ability to change history for the better.

It's true this. Everyone were against the Holocaust after it happened. While it was happening though, not the same music. And while alot of Western thought agreed that the Nazis were bad, mainly because they were at war with the Nazis, many of them also thought the Jews were as bad, and weren't really disturbed by what the Nazis did to the Jews, until afterwards.

And history always rhymes. A genocide becomes horrible after it has happened.

The other big predictable is the "We Didn't KNOW!"

I mean, every news report gives you the exact figure for how many Palestinians died. Sourced straight to the Hamas terrorist organization, whose propaganda the media and people and governments of the world have unanimously agreed to accept without question. I mean, why would the terrorists who provided the pretext for this misery with their pointless attack on civilians possibly lie? Only a lunatic would think that half a million Palestinians are dead already, more before this is over.

So it comes, as always, like this big surprise at the end, with all the people so shocked, after they took such careful efforts to be lied to.

It was clear this was going to be a genocide by October 9th. When something becomes a genocide is when the actions match the genocidal rhetoric and intent.

When the dust settles, I believe the death troll and evidence of atrocities will far eclipse what we suspect. Those involved in this, including the Biden Administration, will be remembered for their roles. And that will be their legacy.

Biden and Sullivan had pallets of US bombs delivered to Israel numerous times.

I'll come out and say it.

I supported Israel doing what was necessary following the Oct terrorist attack.

But what they've done...is too far, by several orders of magnitude. I thought Israeli special forces were the best in the world, yet they can't target and kill hamas (10% of the Gaza population, at most?) without killing and starving everyone else?

If people truly want to understand why October 7th happened, it's because all other forms of non-violent resistance failed. Peaceful protestors were gunned down en masse, and their version of Nelson Mandela was imprisoned and remains imprisoned. Then the squeeze was put on them in all aspects of life. This is simply a fact. This kind of violence doesn't exist in a vacuum. It's a failure of the international community.

Whether you want to call it a justification, an explanation -- whatever. It was not based on antisemitism. It was based on the circumstances placed upon the occupied population. It's our most basic instinct: Fight or Flight. And Palestinians can't even flee.

Hamas is not innocent, they are guilty of war crimes. But lets put it in perspective.
