6) FISTULAS - pregnant adolescents are predisposed to develop holes between the wall of the bladder or rectum and the vagina - which causes leaked urine or feces that is not only painful (the leaked urine causes burning sores)
7) mortality rates are much higher in girls under 15 than girls 16 to 19, although 16 to 19 has a mortality twice as high as women 20 and above.”

14) adolescent pregnancy and childbearing often leads girls to drop out of school, birth, jeopardizing future education and employment opportunities
15) pregnancy and childbirth complications are the leading cause of death among girls aged 15–19 years globally
16) 2017 (last year for which data was available) there were 4,460 pregnancies in America for girls under 15

Section 2919.22 | Endangering children.
(A) No person, who is the parent, guardian, custodian, person having custody or control, or person in loco parent is of a child under eighteen years of age or a mentally or physically handicapped child under twenty-one years of age, shall create a substantial risk to the health or safety of the child, by violating a duty of care, protection, or support.
(B) No person shall do any of the following to a child under eighteen years of age or a mentally or physically handicapped child under twenty-one years of age:
(1) Abuse the child;
(2) Torture or cruelly abuse the child;
(3) Administer corporal punishment or other physical disciplinary measure, or physically restrain the child in a cruel manner or for a prolonged period, which punishment, discipline, or restraint is excessive under the circumstances and creates a substantial risk of serious physical harm to the child

1) Given the documented mental and physical impacts of pregnancies on adolescent girls, the Ohio Legislature's "Heartbeat"is in direct violation of its own "Endangering Children" Statures!
2) The majority of adolescent girls, including the 10 year old in Ohio, remain unaware that they are pregnant prior the the first heartbeat of the fetus - the termination point after which it is illegal to obtain an abortion under Ohio law
3) While "anti-abortion" legislation, in states like Ohio, would force adolescents have full term pregnancies - but absolves itself of all responsibility when it comes to the short and long term consequences that their decision would on the physical and mental health of the mother and child!
