Obama's 47 Percent Approval Lowest of Any President at This Point

FOXNews.com - Obama's 47 Percent Approval Lowest of Any President at This Point

By Bill Sammon
- FOXNews.com

President Obama's job approval rating has fallen to 47 percent in the latest Gallup poll, the lowest ever recorded for any president at this point in his term.

President Obama's job approval rating has fallen to 47 percent in the latest Gallup poll, the lowest ever recorded for any president at this point in his term.

Jimmy Carter, Gerald Ford and even Richard Nixon all had higher approval ratings 10-and-a-half months into their presidencies. Obama's immediate predecessor, President George W. Bush, had an approval rating of 86 percent, or 39 points higher than Obama at this stage. Bush's support came shortly after he launched the war in Afghanistan in response to the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

So he goes from one of the highest approval rating to the lowest in a year. Seems like Calling the man Jimmy the second, is too nice.

Seriously though, what say you about this revealation regarding the high hopes of Obama dimminishing by the minute here?

The Libbos for their big shot at running the show and they've ****ed it up in less than a year...:rofl

That was yesterday, today's gallup has him back at 50% where he's been for four months, ...but don't let it get in the way of the Faux News talking points. :doh

 its 10:46 Eastern time... They did all that polling today?

Article came out yesterday, your fox hunt is teh FAIL. Try to be honest when attacking Fox's "honesty" so you dont look so hypocritical and hyper-partisan. :lamo

These polls bore me a bit, but it's pretty clear that a big question mark is forming over the portion of the population that actually pays attention, as in "WTF is this guys doing?"

He's still bent out of shape because the warmers screwed the pooch.

I agree. I find it laughable how Joe thinks its more important to point out that obama has gained 2 points, and not lost 20+ ;)

That's probably why they call it a "daily tracking poll". :doh

Anyway, if Obama can get down into the low 40's, his first year will looka lot like Reagan's.

Haven't you heard?

"Past performance is not a guarantee of future results"

Reagan was inspiring, Obama scapegoats and blames the previous admin. Wanna wager how that will work out for him?

Reagan didn't blame Carter?

Obama's not inspiring?

And yes, I will wager any amount you want on his reelection.

I'll take that bet no re-election

Joe? Anything on this?

As for the wager, I like $500, how about you?

Deal is we give the forum each $500 so there can be no welching, the forum then paypals the winner minus a $100 bookie fee....

Deal?

I support President Obama and I have a hard time with him putting 30,000 troops into Afghanistan with the war in Iraq still raging.

He's spot on that the healthcare system needs to be reformed.

Place your bet. ...Are you guys planning on reanimating Reagan or something?

You seem awfully confident for a team with nothing but a bunch of re-runs and rejects.

Obama doesn't care if he is a one term president. He intends to lead the nation and stick to his principles doing so.

Your president is laughed at globally on a daily basis. Everything he's doing is failing. We've basically elected a professional wrestling porn star. The 2008 election proved to be less thoughtfully voted on than American Idol.

The independents see it. Even a bunch of the blue dogs see it. Better get ACORN working overtime.

Done, but how about $100 to DP, and $400 to charity.

My pop told me when I was a kid: son, never, ever bet on a crippled horse.

That's why I'm sticking with Secretariat (Obama), while the GOP lineup are glue-factory rejects.
