Obamacare? Voters are kind of over it.

And why would politics get in the way of full implementation?

Ummm....union money for just one example.
If it wasn't political why was it postponed until after key elections?

Just how many Obamacare fixes did the republicans send to Reid where they were shelved? Would you like to talk about that at all?
Or, are you just trying to score political points? Which would be really sad.

I do not know what the rules and parlimentary protocols that govern the senate and house, and that seems to be the subject of this discourse.

The disaster never came, the voters are over it. Not really much of a political issue anymore.

Yes, that is probably true. Still over half of all Americans are agains. it, they just have come to the realization that Washington D.C. has forced something on them that they now have no choice but to accept. Below are the latest polls of those in favor and against:

RealClearPolitics - Election Other - President Obama Job Approval

Obamacare is still very unpopular and perhaps it may become more so when it is fully implemented. The president has had the habit of delaying the bad parts of it after elections, first after 2012 and now some more after 2014. I think we will just have to wait and see how it plays out for the 2016 election. Right now ISIS and the Ukraine has taken front page.

I was just showing you the error in your assumption.

You didnt really answer the question...did you? But I will. They are delaying it because they have a reasonably high expectation that the outcome will NOT be positive for their election chances.

Better a 'low', than 'no', right?
Hah. Not at all. The small parts of the ACA that have not been implemented will have little effect upon elections, much less most people in the country.

And if you actually pay attention, you'll notice that the ACA has been pretty damn good.
The Obamacare train keeps not wrecking - Vox

A new report from the Kaiser Family Foundation finds that in seven major cities that have released data on 2015 premiums, the price of the benchmark Obamacare plan — the second-cheapest silver plan, which the federal government uses to calculate subsidies —  is falling.

You can talk cities, but let's talk about some states.

Obamacare Premiums Are Going Up

What the survey found was very disturbing: not only did businesses report that as a result of Obamacare the number of workers they employ is lower than higher (18.2% vs 3.0%), that there has been an increase in part time jobs (18.2% higher vs 1.5% lower), leading to a big increase in outsourcing and most importantly, Obamacare costs are being largely passed on to customers (28.8% reporting higher vs 0.0% lower), the punchline was that while there is basically no change in the number of employees covered (17.6% higher vs 14.7% lower and 67.6% unchanged), there has been a big jump in Premiums, Deductibles, Out-of-pocket maximums, and Copays, which has been “matched” by a far greater reduction in the range of medical coverage and the size of the network.

In short a disaster

I understand that. The supporters 'know' that. I'm just giving them the opportunity to be honest.

Delaying implementation has been done because they are scared ****less about the impact it will have on employment and political support. Its just tres goofy to pretend that it isnt being done out of fear. If it was worth a damn...they would have implemented it as planned. Never have so many been so afraid of the impact of the legislation they themselves passed.

I noticed you didn't mention that the study those #'s are drawn from show that premiums are expected to go up 7.5%, which is a lower rate of increase than in years past

ObamaCare premiums slated to rise by an average of 7.5 percent | TheHill

A more recent study has dropped it down to 7%
ACA state exchanges

Still going up, huh? Weren't they supposed to drop and save the average family $2,500.00 a year?

Didn't that Federal Bank study that I posted cause any concern for you?

No, they weren't but I noticed that once confronted with the facts, you drop the "It's a disaster!!" nonsense

No, I don't care what the "sheeple" says.

I didn't think I had to be redundant with stating it being a disaster. I still stand by that and the polls show that they believe it is, also. If everything is so swell with obamacare, the polls would have turned around.....and they haven't.
Of course, they are just the 'sheeple'.

SO the polls determine if something is good or bad?

Have you seen how the republicans and the tea party has been polling lately?

I don't follow either the repubs or the teaparty.
When It affects the people directly, polls matter.

Other states?????????? Those are the friggin' cities!!!!!!!! NYC, Cleveland. Portland, Hartford, Seattle, Providence, and Denver. Sad I have to show you what you posted.
sheesh

They are cities because the number crunching they would have to do to include all 500 seperate pricing areas is too labor intensive, and the cities seem to be a pretty reliable bellwether for the general trend.

You are 'just sayin'. Because you don't have any reference to back that up except for wishful thinking.

Nice try....but no cigar. If you look at the graph I posted, it showed the state of Wa. going up by 8%, in your graph it showed the city of Seattle Wa. going down by 9.8%

That ain't wishful thinking on my behalf, but I think it is on your behalf. The polls show that the people of this great nation still thinks it sucks....and they have their reasons.

You presented the estimates. I showed you the actual numbers.
