"The one unifying principle in the Republican Party at the moment is making sure that 30 million people don't have health care," Obama said, referring to the number of people who will have health insurance as a direct result of the law. "Why is it that my friends in the other party have made the idea of preventing these people from getting health care their holy grail? Their number one priority?"
The president chuckled as he said Republicans at least used to say they would replace the law with a better health care proposal. Not anymore, he said.
"There's not even a pretense now that they're going to replace it with something better," Obama said. "The notion is simply that those 30 million people, or the 150 million who are benefiting from other aspects of affordable care, will be better off without it. That's their assertion. Not backed by fact. Not backed by any evidence. It's just become an ideological fixation."

Your President is nothing if not totally dishonest when it comes to misrepresenting false positions held by those who oppose his wishes.
It's one of the primary reasons why he's a total failure and his second term will be a useless waste of four years.
It seems unseemly for the President of the United States to be reduced to providing language for trolling on the internet. Surely he must have something better to do.

Wondering what? Why Obama never tells the truth?
Even the CBO of all places, released a report in May saying with Obamacare, over the next ten years at least 30 million people will be left uninsured in America. And who's Obama kidding besides the brain dead? Come the first of the year, 30 million people are not going to have health insurance overnight. It's more likely, they never get any. Report after report already show people currently eligible and know about it, don't sign up. They don't want it. Unless of course they have chosen a profession of food stamps and welfare. ( I realize some people need help, I'm referring to those that have pretty much refused to work because Uncle Sugar provides). The main thing most people can count on, is paying new and higher taxes for well, less health care. And who are the 150 million benefiting and how "from other aspects of affordable health care"? He doesn't even bother telling another lie explaining that nonsense.

Why would we need to replace "the law with a better health care proposal."? What we started with was better, almost everyone, at least all contemplative types, concede the very ironically named "Affordable" Care Act, the ACA, aka Obamacare, is a massive train wreck... this train wreck doing the ground hog day deja vu thing on steroids, over and over and over again.
Unifying Principle of Republicans? That is just offensive. So this is what he describes to the world as being the fundamental truth that serves as the unifying foundation for a system of belief for Republicans. We, he thinks, just do not want certain people to have health care no matter what, that is the president's best reasoning underlying why we take the position we take... this malicious cartoon caricature so prejudiced as to be just flat out offensive.
I understand that we Never got fooled into thinking that he was ever to be a u-niter, but surely you can see this yourself plainly now, right?
The president's behavior is becoming increasingly erratic and divisive. This is cause for common concern. I mean he is not just supposed to be president to only the 51%, right?
You think the health care system we had previously, a system where people could be denied insurance coverage because of a pre existing conditions, to be better then a health care system where a person cannot be denied coverage because of preexisting.
I think implying that we can afford all of this, the growing amount waivers given to many groups and requested by more, the idea that the government can make individuals purchase something they absolutely do not care to have, to force others who are willing to pay for their own to pay for others who may not want it and will not/cannot pay, to have a law that did not get one vote from the opposing team, that this law will just addict more people to the already almost all inclusive list of Americans the Feddies are addicting to the Federal Government [to what actual end?], the fact that, since there are not unlimited funds, we will have to make some restrictions whichever way we go, the fact that if the government decides you do not get [ with, maybe even, the IRS deciding who gets and who does not get closer scrutiny, deciding who gets/deserves care...], the government being in control of your medical records... I mean the list keeps going on and on with a 3000 page bill with at least 10 thousand pages of statutes to follow...

It shows the desperation.
I was thinking just the other day how Obama's terms will go down in the history books as the lost decade.
That may be true, but that is a different 30 million.
You're either woefully ignorant or intentionally lying. People could not only be denied health insurance for pre-existing conditions, but in some cases if they got diagnosed with a dread disease they could be dropped.I don't know about him but yes the old way was better.
And start telling the whole truth on preexisting conditions. It varied state by state by after a certain period of time, you got insurance. In other words you signed up and paid for insurance, the insurance covered everything but the preexisting condition for say 12 months, then insurance started paying. Each state was just different. Wasn't like you had to always be without health insurance unless you didn't want it.

A symphony of talking points.
Fascinating.
Night.

Do you really want to know the answer to this question? Just think of the mechanism bywhich Republicans plan to use in order to defund ObamaCare and the answer may begin to become more obvious.Obama: Republicans' 'Unifying Principle' Is Denying Health Care To 30 Million People
