Obama loses the Left: suddenly, it's cool to bash Barack - Telegraph
Wait, I thought he was our messiah. Can you guys make up our minds for us?
No - just another false prophet.
I tend to agree though with the article but really... some of us knew he was a failure before he even won. Sure it's easy to weekend quarterback and say I told you so - but jezus who's going to save us from Obama's abortion policies? Will it even be possible to save it and if so - at what cost? 8 years of spending by Bush and a double down in the first year by Obama and more to come. NOW people are waking up with the cringe worthy regret from post coitus election fun, to the worst puke induced hangover, stuck with Obama and his geeky cronies.
I'll make up your mind for you. Keep sticking your finger down your throat while praying this is all a bad dream and swear off mixing "HOPE" and "CHANGE" for as long as you live.
The economy crashed under a Democrat congress, they control the purse strings, you lose.It just amazes me that the hate for a guy who's done very little against the last president who trashed the economy, started a war on false pretenses that cost the lives of over 4000 American Soldiers... yeah no outrage over that eh

No, Bush did have some key problems in his administration, all presidents do. The fact is that Congress sets a budget and fiscal policy, if a president does have fiscal legislation passed the effects normally play out over a decade, congressional budgets affect the economy in the short term since they are immediate. This in no way absolves Obama of gross and complete incompetence.Oh ok... I understand. Everything is the presidents fault as long as his name's Obama...

That is a lame-ass copout. Freakin' Right and Left are ALWAYS pointing the damn finger at eachother like children. More and more do we lose the right to be a super power. More and more our "leaders" are like children.
And Bush blew the spending balloon MUCH larger than it was. Plus the dumb-ass got us into the right war in the wrong damn COUNTRY!!!
People need to realize there are crappy "leaders" on BOTH sides of the aisle.

I was under the impression we lived in a state where the economy wasn't under total control of the goverment... I think its unfair to totally blame the Congress for the economy when the private sector controls so much more.

If he thinks the reasons behind the US economic collapse formed in jus the 1 year of the democratic congress he should go back to school to gain an understand of economics

Congress spends the money and it makes fiscal law. There is no question they are culpable in whole for any damage they have done.I was under the impression we lived in a state where the economy wasn't under total control of the goverment... I was pointing out the incorrect part of a very specific post. That is a lame-ass copout. Freakin' Right and Left are ALWAYS pointing the damn finger at eachother like children. More and more do we lose the right to be a super power. More and more our "leaders" are like children.
First off, Obama and this congress have committed at least triple the ill-advised Bush spending, so it is at least 3 times as dumb. Secondly, the Iraq war was gonna happen, we bailed out the U.N. for something they let fester, you are more than welcome to question the timing, but that was going to happen. And Bush blew the spending balloon MUCH larger than it was. Plus the dumb-ass got us into the right war in the wrong damn COUNTRY!!!
And again, you are trying to lecture me for correcting a post and using the past to do it. The FACT is that nothing has changed with Obama except the pace of stupidity.People need to realize there are crappy "leaders" on BOTH sides of the aisle.
Don't know for sure, can't really but this congress did everything in it's power to overreact and legislate the situation into a catastrophe. As if it weren't going to crash under a republican Congress?
Hmmm, assume much? Problems existed under the surface, this thing has been bubbling for at least a century, the root cause of this recession being one that was created in the '70s. But if one pays attention to the methods applied with this particular congress we are in an overmanaged economy and any wrong moves will make a blip a problem, this congress made the wrong move. Thanks for playing.LaMidRighter loses
