Obama bowed....lol.

Let me see. On one hand, if a president bends because the other guy is shorter, he is bowing.

It looks like Senor Obama is going to pet a middle sized dog, or large Chihuahua.

.

Getting angry over Obama bowing to a world leader in a fashion that is customary in Saudi Araba is the same kind of macho pissing contest that has destroyed the image of America worldwide. Obama is doing a good job of restoring relations because he respects the leaders he meets, even if he disagrees with them.

The days of cowboy diplomacy are gone. Get over it.

It is NOT customary in Saudi Arabia.

Nobody saw Bush kissing the saudi king in crawford texas? and holding his hand as he led him away?

Just because you are ignorant of what are customs and what are insults, does not mean you actually have a point. :2wave:

Bowing to the king in Saudi Arabia? You bet it is.

Although Obama was not obligated to do this, he went the extra mile in order help international relations.

Incidentally, Obama was signalling the relationship that the U.S. has with Saudi Arabian economy and oil: that of subserviance. :2razz:

Nobody is angry, we are simply illustrating his continuing Foreign relations Gaffe Festival.

I heard a group in Brazil is planning a float next year with Obama's head bobbing up and down like a porn star, with the Saudi King's head falling backwards as if he is enjoying an oral-ectomy from "The One he has been waiting for".

A little like a previous president.

Fashion for commoners wanting something from the King.

They go begging for the King to bless them with funding for their projects etc... So Obama is seen as a Common Beggar to the ME.

I don't know about you, but we managed to find an illegal Nuke black market, got Libya to hand over their program, freed 50 million people.

Pretty good, and if it were a D, they'd be singing a different tune.

But freeing people isn't the Modern Lib's strong suit.
Instead it is attacking American presidents, generals and the military during war.

Obama is doing a good job of restoring relations because he respects the leaders he meets, even if he disagrees with them.
And Bush didn't?
Bush put America first.
That's his job.

The days of cowboy diplomacy are gone. Get over it.
Welcome the era of beggary...
The day of an American president attacking America... and doing it all over the world.

This is good?
I guess if you don't like America.

Oh, so the White House was lying when a statement was issued that it was not, in fact, a bow? :spin:

What fascinating selective outrage you seem to have when Liberals posted endless pictures of Bush holding hands and kissing Arabs.

No one is angry here, just pointing out the obvious that the empty shirt Community Organizer is truly clueless.

Obama is doing a good job making the Community Organization of the United States once more the laughing stock of the world and once more a safe place for despots, thugs, terrorists and dictators.

When the enemies of your country are all happy and shaking their heads in agreement with you, you just might be on the WRONG side of the issue. but again, that is too OBVIOUS for the intellectual mighty might’s of the Liberal left.

The days of cowboy diplomacy are gone. Get over it.

We never had such diplomacy; it is a fantasy and mythical policy fabricated by Liberals who hate real leadership, avoid the truth, the facts and historic record and hate anyone who do not pander to the hysterical emotional state of constituents who swallow the leftist swill dished out by a media infested with group think.

You know what is truly ironic; the notion that Liberals fancy themselves as having intelligence.

Funny you should bring this up; I remember how the forum Leftists blathered the forum with these pictures intimating that Bush was somehow a closet homo.

But it only illustrated the profound ignorance of those leftists because what the pictures illustrated was a LEADER Bush who showed respect for Arab customs and culture.

The Community Organizer goes around insulting those cultures in a clueless attempt to embarrassingly ingratiate himself.

One only has to look at the last 30-years to see how terribly wrong the left has been on virtually every international issue of importance; The Left in America and the vast majority of the EU.

Well, I would say that Presidents like Eisenhower and Nixon had their share of mistakes as well.

There is nothing partisan about making huge mistakes in international policy, they all do it; but it is damned dumb for Democrats to pretend their policies and economics have been sound and to make the idiotic claims we are seeing on this thread.

Some of my favorite myths; Cowboy diplomacy, Bush doctrines and oh yeah, Clinton balanced the federal budget.

I'll agree, to err is human, but the folks we call the disloyal opposition are Superhuman in their ability to be so regularly duped in Foreign Affairs.

First, about the "Communism." Have you ever heard about the SEC? How about the Federal Reserve? These, along with some others are meant to regulate houses, and stocks. Now we simply have something that regulates ginormous corporatios like AIG, which would bring about a Greater Depression if they failed. And those despots, and such? Come now, there is no need to talk about yourselves like that, you're just an old, wavering party, which chose the wrong man for the job.....three times. Bush, counting his re-election, and McCain. McCain wasn't a full blooded Republican.....not to the point of Rush, but he was too moderate. Had he been a bit more Republican, he would have won. And I think he would have done a fine job, but Obama got it, and he will do better. And when you Republicans want to talk about the economy, just remember President Hoover, and his "policies."

And there were 200 people only looking at Fannie and Freddie daily.
They reported everything was A-ok.

Tells you about "government oversight" and this is only a fraction of what is on their plate.

Think of what Government Health Care would look like?
LOL.

Bush was the right guy at the right time.
McCain admitted his nomination was due to "like minded independents and independent minded Democrats". He was a darling of the press, even the NY Times until nominated.

We need to eliminate D's and I's from nominating our Presidential Candidate.

McCain wasn't a full blooded Republican.....
True... a RINO.

he was too moderate.
He was too far left... to similar to Obama on many issues.
Obama had virtually no experience in the real world, and what he had said "made him feel like a traitor"... and had bad judgment as witnessed by his associates and colleagues; Ayers, Wright, Rezko, Alinsky (CO indoctrination), Frank... and Michelle gave us a good look into the Obama mindset.

Had he been a bit more Republican, he would have won.
Virtually any real R would have won.
Romney, Giuliani, Allen, Thompson... would have won; at a minimum they would have put up a fight and ripped at Obama's radical past and ideas.

...but Obama got it, and he will do better.
We've already learned otherwise.

McCain wouldn't have bowed.
He wouldn't have looked like Chavez's long lost buddy either.
