Obama blames Limbaugh

What leader apologized to Rush anyway? Call me out of the loop or whatever but I'm not aware of that, or maybe I just forgot.

You have either an extremely poor or a 'convenient' memory. This has happened numerous times. Google it if you can deal with the truth.

"Better days are coming." ~ But not for today's out of touch, running out of time, GOP.

how much time do you think he spends on Rush? Rush has millions of ditto heads and thus controls a very large voting block. Pretty much the same voting bloc that watches Faux. I can see why Obama would know about them. I dont think he should honor either by recognizing their existence, let alone his importance.
It just seems odd and petty that Obama would spend as much time as he does worrying about these things. Doesn't he have more important things to do? He's so worried about Rush Limbaugh and Fox News. It's just makes him look as if he is joining in instead of rising above. It is NOT presidential at all IMO.

It seems like it was in June during the run up for the election Romney even had to seek Rush's blessings, something about public sector employees like firemen or something.

Okay fine don't tell. Why bring it up then?

Limbaugh is the Chief Messiah for all conservatives (he is at the same level as Christ to these conservatives).

Even notice how all the conservative posters here tend to post comments that are almost carbon copies of what rush recently said?

It's interesting how invested liberals are in insisting who is the "leader" of all conservatives. Also a hilarious Alinsky tactic. C'mon, we're supposed to believe the people who understand conservatives and conservatism the least when they try to tell us what conservatives want?

You wish Limbaugh was as powerful as you make him out to be. It justifies your knee-jerk opposition to something you obviously don't understand and reinforces the dogma you subscibe to as truth. To bad for you it's a chimera.

The fact is that he is a participant in this silliness. There are plenty of other instances in which he has made questionable comments that are not very gracious or presidential like. It seems to me that he is much too concerned with things that going on the "gossip sector" instead of things he should be putting his FULL concentration and efforts towards.

Why have so many GOP leaders apologized to Rush Limbaugh on bended knee?

Explain that.

That is a good question, but I have to ask why would any politician from any party apologize to any entertainer. I can't explain it

The question is, do dumb people listen to Limbaugh? Or does listening to Limbaugh make you dumber?

-----------------------
Hmmm.....good question.
Probably both.
Worthy of a government study.
Unfortunately, that pesky sequester limits our ability to research this question.

There is a good answer to that, he has no clue on how to lead a country, thus he blames his incompetence on anyone he can find.

Because it is pertinent to this conversation.

I Googled 'gop leader apologizes to limbaugh' and got over a million results. I kid you not.

Here's one that starts out with the headline - R.N.C. Chairman Apologizes to Limbaugh in Flap Over His Role : R.N.C. Chairman Apologizes to Limbaugh in Flap Over His Role - NYTimes.com

Here's Darrell Issa on bended knee: Darrell Issa is the latest Republican to apologize to Leader Limbaugh | Blog | Media Matters for America

If those 2 aren't enough for you, just Google 'gop leader apologizes to limbaugh' and read more. There are plenty to choose from.

Neither can I.

I am not one of those guys but if I was I would have told Limbaugh to stick his BS where the sun doesn't shine.

George Will (Ever heard of him?) doesn't agree with you: George Will: Republican Leaders Are Afraid of Rush Limbaugh - ABC News

Maybe you should have a little talk with George Will and set him straight. :lamo

This STILL does not qualify him as a "leader" of the republican party any more than Chris Matthews being a leader of the dem party. Both are entertainers. Some politicians may feel intimidated by them or feel that these entertainers can hurt or help their reputations and that is certainly nothing out of the ordinary.

Nobody listens to Matthews. I really dont care, I am just pointing out a fact. I will listen to rush while working on my pool today, if he says anything new, I guarantee you I will hear it tonight at the Legion or the local bar and all the conservobot forums I hang out on. I really dont understand why you guys dont admit this, talk about denial. Almost all the really conservative forums I am on I am usually the only one that admits to listening to him. He gets paid bizillions, if no one listens to him, why? I can honestly say I have neverheard a single lib I know quote Matthews. It is a daily thing with Rush.

I have had the same experience in the past many times.

Lots of GOP true believers talk about Limbaugh like he's some kind of God.

You are out of touch with reality.

Believe what you want to believe. But read what George Will had to say about this at the link that I posted for clownboy: http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2012/03/george-will-republican-leaders-are-afraid-of-rush-limbaugh/

No, but apparently you are because you think a political pundit is a leader. Obviously, your perception is just a little twisted.

Believe what you want to believe.

So predictable too. Can't make a coherent argument so make an insult and run away. :lamo

Most of the people who listen to Limbaugh believe what the man says.

And like I said, just because some politicians are intimidated by him or feel that maybe he could hurt or help their careers, does not qualify him as a leader. And if you're claiming he is a leader, then please give me the title of his position within the republican party. Bet you can't!

You continue to ignore reality.

I won't waste any more time with you.

Most of the people who listen to Limbaugh believe what the man says.

And most of the people listening to their particular news/opinion source believe it as well...

Again, no coherent argument. Well, I guess I won that round by default!

True enough.
I can only say that I listened to him for years without believing him.
I stopped listening because he became boring and predictable during the GWBush years.
The Sandra Fluke incident got me listening again.
Alas, Rush has become, once again, boring and predictable.

As a matter of fact, I was just about to say that I have won by default, since you have nothing to support your argument.
