In the mind of @Rich2018 just SAYING the WORD "gun" equals life in prison with no parole.
I don't think he should have shot anyone, and he didn't, however if any of these punks are juvenile their parents need a few visits from the police to find out why they are raising their children to behave like thugs.

And even if you think drawing when you are being beaten by a violent crowd is excessive, which imo is delusional but setting that aside, that is something you think someone should be put away for a long time?

Not a fine? Not a suspension of a concealed carry permit? Literally just straight to jail for years?

If you can't draw when you are being assaulted by a large hostile crowd...when tf can you legally defend yourself at all? Do you need to wait until they've already killed you and come back from the grave with a gun?

And who's to say that he was being assaulted ?
And would he have been assaulted if he hadn't been so confrontational ?
Was there a clear threat to his life ?

In the video we saw he wasn’t confrontational. In fact he was punched in the face multiple times and didn’t draw his gun until someone in the crowd tried to reach for it.

There was a clear threat of bodily harm. You don’t only get to defend yourself from lethal threats.

Not going to lie I thought you were exaggerating and that he couldn’t possibly believe that. It seemed entirely beyond all possible reason.

I was wrong. I actually had to put down my phone and sit stunned for a minute when I read the “so what” reply.

@Rich2018 is a Brit. In the UK, you can be arrested for defending yourself from a criminal. I believe that the preferred behavior is to get on your knees and beg for your life.


This case also illustrates the need for standard capacity magazines. I just ordered some +5 extenders for my M&P 9 which will take them from 17 rounds to 22 rounds.

The guy was supposed to lay down with his belly exposed and give up.
 

You just HAD to resort to a joke like NaturalNews?
I could have supplied no less than a dozen links outside of NaturalNews and found something credible.
But yes, in the UK, you are required to RETREAT and even then, you might still be arrested anyway for defending your own life.
You might even be civilly liable for damages if you injure your assailant.

But it is easy to find this outside of NaturalNews dot com.

I have some Pro-Mag 32 rounders for the M&P9 but they sometimes misfeed. Work great in my Sub 2000 through so they stay dedicated to that gun.

How did you end up like this? Generally curious as to how someone can become so feckless to the point that they would default to concern trolling about some guy defending himself instead of being more concerned about why we have angry roving looting mobs in a first world "civilized" nation.

Also gun debate aside, this aura you project is fundamentally anti-American. You should be deported immediately.
 
I am now just here for how rich this thread has become.

But I have learned that I shouldn't defend myself against a mob randomly beating my ass.
Or at least don't use a firearm..

I mean you have to weigh the mobs safety vs your own.. If one pulls out a bat, well follow suit. Equal..
If one pulls a firearm, well..

Anyone that goes to the gun in this situation, without regard to the crowd kicking his ass is Chock Full o Nuts.

Have him explain to you that shotguns, handguns, and rifles aren't portable while he's at it. And that there's nothing wrong with well administered concentration camps.
