NWT Proves the Holy Spirit is God!

If God the Father is spirit, then the spirit is not a separate entity.

John 4:24 - "For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.”

If your argument is that God the Father is spirit...no problem.

If your argument is that the Holy Spirit is spirit...no problem.

If your argument is that God the Father and the Holy Spirit are the same person...problem.

And IF that is what you're saying, what is your reason for making such a claim?

A little birdy told me that God's spirit and his person are not separate from each other.

I posted evidence for my claims in the OP.
All the OP contains are words of various writers defining an imagined being

The fact that you and others believe those words true serves only as evidence of what some can led to believe or want to believe. The finality of death is hard for some to accept.

Yea, this thread is defined by the OP which doesn't mention sniveling rants by un-Believers attempting to derail this thread.

Point-of-fact, your post would actually be a violation of Rules 3 & 4.

So thanks so much for failing to add anything to this thread that could be misconstrued as thoughtful, intelligent, insightful, perceptive, useful, beneficial, worthwhile, constructive, contemplative, helpful or anything else that isn't insipid, stupid, uninteresting , unintelligent, dull-witted, hlaf-witted, or imbecilic.

If the Holy Spirit is a separate being equal to the Father and the Son as the trinity doctrine claims, then why are we “never” told the Holy Spirit loves us? And why does the Bible “never” teach we are to love or worship the Holy Spirit? It cannot be a third co-equal being with that being the case.

The thrones of God and His Son are spoken of, but a throne for the Holy Spirit is “never” mentioned. If the Holy Spirit is equal to the Father and Son, why is a throne for the Holy Spirit “never” mentioned? Because it is their Spirit and not another god.

Ask yourself these simple questions.

Why did the Father never speak to the Holy Spirit?
Why did Jesus never speak to the Holy Spirit?
Why did the Holy Spirit never speak to Jesus?
Why did the Holy Spirit never speak to the Father?

Yet the Father spoke to His Son over and over again all throughout the Bible, and Jesus spoke to His Father over and over again all throughout the Bible. So how can the Holy Spirit be a co-equal being when it never speaks to the Father and Son?

Just saying, you've failed to provide any proof.

Finally! Something interesting! Great Job!

1 John 4:8 NWT
Whoever does not love has not come to know God, because God is love.

John 3:16 NWT

“For God loved the world...

Your Bible says that He does love us.

And why does the Bible “never” teach we are to love or worship the Holy Spirit? It cannot be a third co-equal being with that being the case.
Deuteronomy 6: 5 NWT
You must love Jehovah your God with all your heart and all your soul*d and all your strength.

Matthew 22:1-46 NWT
He said to him: “‘You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind.

Your Bible teaches that we are to love the Holy Spirit. And, yes, the Holy Spirit is both a person and God as I've more than aptly demonstrated using the NWT.

And to think I went to all that trouble only for you to ignore everything I've written. I don't know why you are ignoring my post as they simply share your own Bible verses.

Granted they prove you wrong, but you could at least acknowledge what I've written...it'd be the Christian thing to do.

The Bible is far from from exhaustive which is why even reasonable people have questions. However, the verses I supplied to you from you own NWT do prove conclusively that the Holy Spirit is God.

Why don't you address those (without reference to JW sources of course. As always, JW sources are without credibility)?

Ask yourself these simple questions.
I've answered about all the question I care to until you start addressing the questions, posts, etc. that I've posted.

But instead of doing the honest thing, you ignore and re-direct. Why not have the intellectual honesty to address the threads that I've already posted and then I'll answer more of your questions.

Oneness Pentecostal?
God is not just one person. His spirit exists within a multitude of people. We're all God in different forms. Jesus just happens to be the original recipe.

That's right. There are three persons whom make up the God-head.

Yea, that's true. We are sealed by the Holy Spirit upon converstion.

Definitely Charismatic.

Meaning?
In heaven Jesus is the supreme being > as the Father, on earth, Jesus was a man. As the spirit, Jesus is in all of us and the sustainer of all things.
He's the head of creation and we are His body. There are not 3 gods with 3 Personalities.

No, it's in the bible but difficult to find and interpret.
I'm just going to address the Father portion.

John 14:8 - "Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.
Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?"

Isaiah 9:6 - "For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."

Mark 8:38-9:1 “If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels."

Revelation 3:21 - "Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne."

lol...nothin' intelligent to see here, folks...move along...:sneaky:

Why would it be difficult to find? If you know it's in there then you should know it book, chapter and verse. And even if you didn't there's always Google. You should have no problem finding it.

And why would it be difficult to interpret? Hermeneutics should have no problem addressing the interpretation of these matters.
I'm just going to address the Father portion.
I'm familiar with it. Is there a point?

It must be very sad for you to not be able to defend your own beliefs. I don't mean that in a sarcastic way.

You could, of course, at any time approach an actual Christian church and get factual and biblical answers from them but, I know you're not allowed to do such things. It's just not allowed.

And that's how you know you're in a cult.

I'm sympathetic to the give, give, give BS. That isn't biblical either.

Point-of-fact, my wife and I left our last church because the Senior Pastor was getting all his theology from TBN and the whole "Word of Faith", "Prosperity Gospel", "Name-It-Claim-It / Blab-It-Grab-It" heretical BS.

So, if you were attending one of these Pentecostal / Charismatic churches then, yea, I would have thought that the JWs were looking pretty good, too!

Nah, it wasn't that so much as the doctrine of the trinity, hellfire, or the immortal soul...only when I left the church and really delved into studying the Bible for myself, did all the pieces to the puzzle fit together...I will NEVER go back to the lies...that would be like a dog returning to its vomit...I would be an atheist 1st and we know that ain't gonna happen...

And yet all these things are described in the Bible--actual, properly translated Bibles.
