Nuclear winter to offset global warming?

Given the claim that global warming imminently threats to destroy all of civilization and all but destroy all life on earth, to save all of humanity and all other creatures, it would be a vastly lesser of evils to devastate Iran with nuclear weapons to cause a mini nuclear winter to offset global warming?

Use mini nuke wars to save earth from the horrors of global warming.

One thing that is curious is that no one actually has ANY plan to address global warming among those who believe in it. Shifting US production to China and elsewhere doesn't reduce co2 one iota. Nor does carbon taxes. Why not try to block sunlight instead or some other actual plan that might actually do something? Blow a few holes in earth so the ash blocks the sun.

Maybe another big dust bowl? Have everyone cover their roofs with tinfoil to reflect the sunlight. Wear tinfoil hats too. Require all packaging be covered in reflective coating and then require everyone to litter. Allow people to only have white dogs and cats for pets.

Given how slight the alleged increasing is, why not pursue slight offsets?

white paint.
AC makes up about half of the US residential base load, and I would like to see my electric bill go down.

Does the right-wing ever bother to look for facts? Volcanos cool because they emit sulfates into the high atmosphere. The world has plenty of sulfates, and they still emit them as acid rain. They only cool when they are high in the atmosphere and proposals to do it have been done many times.

There are a couple problems with it. It doesn't stop ocean acidification and will even contribute to it. It isn't a one shot deal and needs to have the sulfates replaced. Once committed to it, you have to keep doing it until the CO2 in the atmosphere is removed to an acceptable level and that requires other geoengineering methods.

There are all kinds of geoengineering proposals that are a lot smarter than nuclear winter or trying to create a volcanic eruption. Only large eruptions cool the Earth and that's not easy to manage, when you don't know how to set such an eruption off.

painting the roofs white sounds great unless you're up North where it gets cold. I want to absorb as much heat through my roof as I can when it's cold! Otherwise, any gains in the summer are offset by higher heating bills in the winter.

I don't see nuclear winter on the list, but I have seen videos saying that 2 watts per meter of additional energy is like setting off 1,400 Hiroshima bombs per day.
