I thought it utterly hilarious and personally denigrading for Maher to say she called Trump a fascist wouldn't call him one today.

I mean, what was the upshot of the Hunter Biden laptop "story"? Beside the fact that the FBI originally dismissed it as Russian disinformation, what significant information of any real import was discovered?

It's just become another one of the incantations recited by Trumpers, like "Russia, Russia, Russia" that is supposed to be some stinging indictment of Democrats, but really doesn't amount to much of anything at all.

The mea culpa by NPR’s chief executive Katherine Maher came during intense questioning from Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) and other Republican legislators during a congressional subcommittee hearing regarding the broadcaster’s perceived bias in its coverage.

She was getting grilled at the hearing and was asked about some of the crazy things she's said in the past and it was wonderful.
