Yep, it's "fair" - what could be considered "unfair" about it? It seems to be a typical junk mail envelope designed to look like an "official" or "important" notice.

Why is the NRA listed in the envelope ?


I don't think a mass mail shot is necessary.

Some airtime at peak viewing to tell people when and where to hand in their guns should suffice.


I mean in Georgia there was mo mailshot advising us the cell phone usage in your car was illegal after a certain date (without a hands free device that is).

What isn't fair about it? Seems to be a typical mass mailing hoping to capitalise on an emotional appeal for support. Most normal people would just ignore it and toss the mailer. I'm sure there are a few extra sensative snowflakes who would have an unreasonable response, but they get torqued over any small item as is.

It seems this is an NRA advert. And I think they're using this to make a point. Yes I think it's fair. In certain States there are people within the government that wish to confiscate guns. This is a bit hyperbolic, but it is a bit prophetic.

FYI "section 703.1.2.2" is just the authority for the USPS to deliver mail. Literally any mail. They put the legal citation there just to intimidate you. It's a bluff.
