If you want to know what is wrong in city governments that are run by democrats, look no farther than this crazy policy. NOT prosecuting theft, shoplifting, valued under $1,000 is nothing more than putting the stamp of approval on this type of criminal activity. It also encourages more crime and more serious crime as criminals feel that the city doesn't take crime seriously.
Your feelings?

You do know this is a statewide proposition passed by the voters of California? Would you deny the voters of California a say in how their state is run?

This nonsense is statewide in CA, but does not preclude prosecution for misdemeanor theft.

yes i would....by leaving the state

when you let petty crimes go unpunished, kids will believe that more egregious crimes will also be okay

when you make them realize crime is NOT an option....you can change their track early

this is a stupid policy imo, and i would never live in a state with such lax laws

Only problem is: that isnt actually a "policy" at all.
You're emoting over something that isnt true.

Ah yes, the moronic conservatives way. more prisons, tougher on crime, yeah, that works LOL. We lead the world in imprisoned people, that cost $30K a year to prison, and does shit to rehabilitate. the moronic conservatives response, we need to get "tough on crime". THat's just code word for what they love, disproportionately jailing people of color.

Can't spend money on the root cause of crime, poverty, or address any of hte other issues to reduce crime. No, lets just double down on "tough on crime". Of course, until a white conservatives commits a crime, then the courts should go light on them

It is a completely stupid public policy with all the all too predictable results.

The blame lies with the social justice warrior DAs who've been elected who inflicted such public policies, and then, you need to look at their campaign funding sources.

Of 8 posting, 3 posters opposing CA Prop 47 were for false reasons. Take away the false reasoning, my bet is they'd still oppose.

Just saw some young gentlemen saunter into a high-end Chicago shop and calmly steal expensive items.

When a clerk tried to stop them, they just gently (thank heavens) brushed her aside.

They were careful not to steal more than $1,000.

It no doubt made a lot of viewers sick to their stomach that Dems not only tolerate this outrageous behavior but even make excuses, such as "Oh, the poor babies live in poverty and are victims of systemic [you-know-what]."

(Thanks to FOX for showing the video. Of course, the liberal media ignore such stories, which ruin their narrative.)

Prop 8 was too and the elite had no problem ignoring that.

And besides I was living in California during 2014, none of the advocates were saying that crimes wouldn’t be prosecuted. They used the normal left wing lie that prisons were full of innocent marijuana users

There will need to be arrests of Soros bought district attorneys in the future

Campaign contributions have no legal connection to the malfeasance the elected do when in office.

I think you need a link to verify and offer detail. This is just gibberish as is.

That video and corresponding text doesn't support TheParser's claim.
Sorry. But it's the most recent thing i could find matching his criteria (Chicago/multiple perps/expensive items)
