Nobody cares about the US election, except maybe some sad souls in the US who actually believe it is about electing.

The US election is a fraud, and people are forced to choose the lesser of two bads, the republican or democrat parties. Party politics is deadly to politics and governance just like complete nuclear war is deadly to a majority.

It doesnt matter who wins the US election, not who becomes the president, because he is only a slave of his party, and his party is just one of two poles in the US, making it about changing back what the other pole has done wrong in their period of governance, in fact creating a situation of endless and continuous stagnation in the US intellectually and otherwise..

Party politics, idolisation, money, media and political joke circus. No thanks, I`d rather have a dictator who is not elected.

Newsflash:

The entire world cares about the US election.

Good thing you don't live there, then, huh?

BULL****... Nobody cares anymore, people have woken up, at least a global majority have now come to understand what kind of fraud and joke the US election actually is..

Speak for yourself, im very interested and care about the US Elections.
I find it fascinating and stayed up for all 3 debates and will most likely stay up for the results.

Newsflash darling: Europe and the world is hooked on this election.

Well than, feel free to move to the exotic North Korea then. I'm sure you would be much happier there since it is a dictatorship.

We have 2 great choices.

A war hero who has served our country honorably for decades.

And a man dedicated to helping the disadvantaged among us. The son of a single mother and a minority citizen who got to the top by using his brains.

I do get the impression that Americans are starting to care about what is going on in other countries, the way other countries care about us.

No way I find American elections fascinating. The amount of mud-throwing and dirt and lies about both candidates is incredible and exciting, we just dont get that in Europe. I mean where else in the world would Joe the Plummer be treated as a political commentator lol lol?

I care about this election, because this is the election to decide what kind of country America will be in the 21st century. Will it be the same or turn into the America the world used to love.

Maybe I should come to the US and wave the flag and scream for democracy under a badly funtioning system and an elected dicator then..?

This is incorrect.. You have two bad choices, the Republican and the Democratic party, these two jokers are just public faces in their campains.. Kind of advanced marketing guys... How old is John McCain again? And who is his vice president.. That is the important question... And what happens if Obama wins, this man who seemed intelligent at first, but have become a fool himself, ruined by US elections and money.

:shoot:shoot:shoot

You dumb piece of ****... This is not what politics is suppose to be about!!!!!!!!! No wonder Europeans are screaming and begging for the elite to take over when fools and dumb mans politics and braindead elections are going on in the US.. What a SHAME for a country like the US to end like this..

Ps. I Ignored the last section on purpose since you explain why.. Double effect on te dum Americans then eh?

Two questions, where do you get all the info to make this judgment? And why does it concern you enough that you would make a post titled “ Nobody cares about US elections” on a “US Political debate forum” hhmm..?

Wow. For somebody who doesn't care you sure seem like you...I don't know, care. A lot.

We'll be just fine over here. Contrary to your belief, a lot of Europeans and other nationalities care about what goes on here for some of the very reasons already stated. I think we will be made whole. While I am a bit disillusioned by the duopoly within our system I can confidently say that it has worked, for the most part, as it should.

Oh yes, and things are so wonderful in the European Union; fraud, terrorism, double digit unemployment, tax rates double our own, anemic GDP growth, gas prices MORE than double our own and Governments who are drowning in a sea of red ink trying to pay for their Socialism.

When it comes to pathetic drivel, this thread supersedes all expectations. Why don't you take your petty jealousy and shove it?

:rofl

You don't get that in Europe? If anything, European politics can be even more confrontational. Ever watch the British Parliament in action? Hell, you don't need to watch elections to see worse, just watch them in session.

:rofl

So true, i mean. Ad attacks, campaigning, debates, the insults thrown at each candidate, conventions, Ayers, Palin [We Europeans would never find someone like her]. Bloody hell, if European elections was like that i'd be content but US delivers when it comes to elections, especially 08 elections. Been addicted to it from the primaries

True, i do enjoy PM Question Time. Its a hilarious time to see the PM getting battered by Cameron. Mayor's question time is just not as fun.

I think what we can all take away from this thread is that, in fact, nobody cares about your opinion of the US elections. Thanks for trying to be an instigator but nobody really cares enough to take much stock in your opinion. Have a good one. :2wave:

A "very liberal" non-American making a hate rant against the US Elections.

Remember folks every stereotype has a living, breathing, walking and talking example out there just to reinforce it.

Someone should tell the world media to stop talking about it, then.

No, because the media is the purveyor of the myth that the elections is about 'the people' deciding on the next leader of the free world. When a more accurate description would be along the lines of : A beauty pageant where people are told to pick one of several leaders, who were both funded by the same people that bought and paid for the previous leader to run for office.

Speak for yourself, im very interested and care about the US Elections.

Newsflash darling: Europe and the world is hooked on this election.

I tortured myself through watching one of those debates; BOTH candidates sounded like one of those 'self-help' books where the summary talks about all the fabulous things that will be achieved through them, but you'll never know what's really inside until they have your vote.

Well than, feel free to move to the exotic North Korea then. I'm sure you would be much happier there since it is a dictatorship.

The opinions of both leaders are about as UN-American as you're gonna get, if you cut through the rhetoric. Hell, neither candidate is even legally elligible to be president since neither was born in US So, I'm sorry but THE REAL americans are trying to kick these TRAITORS out.

No, we have a former POW (leaving him to be likely scarred at the least to UNSTABLE at worst), that's racist and short tempered and has 'always dreamed of being a dictator'

OR a kenyan smooth talking muslim that speaks eloquently, but noone had ever heard of or noticed before. It's almost scarier to think that people would elect someone for president while knowing so little about his character. EDIT : BTW, he believes there are 57 states in the US. There was a time where someone would lose an election over a faux-pas like that.

I have to admit, I'm utterly facinated with the European take on this election. It's nice to get a perspective from "outside the box" no matter what is said.

For the most part, I agree with what you guys are saying. I don't think anybody likes what our politics have become. The mudslinging, the lies told by both sides is repugnant at best. Politicians will say anything to get elected and they count on the fact that most of Americans will not be able to discern lies from truth. I think that all sides can agree that we've seen a really ugly side to this election and it's left a lot of us twisting in the wind.

But make no mistake !! WE DO CARE !! We eat, breathe, live and die for this country. Hopefully, these are the people you will hear about. Not the stuffed shirts who claim to have our best interests at heart. I hate that it's come to a vote of the lesser of two evils in this election. There is a lot at stake and I hope that whoever gets into the White House will bring honor to the office and to the country.

Right now it's the middle of the night but the leaves are changing, acorns are pounding my roof in droves, it's about 50 degrees with a slight breeze and someone is burning wood. It smells heavenly and I wanted to share. :2wave:

If you really don't care and no one else cares either, then why bother to make a thread about it? I don't go around creating threads viciously declaring that "No one cares about how aluminum siding is manufactured." Because no one cares.
