No wall after all?

No, because a lot of people think it is a good idea..... yes the elite dont want it for obvious reasons, but Trump tried, he made the argument and he tried to get it done.

+1 TRUMP

LOL! No, he hasn't 'tried to get it done'.

Back when America was better such lack of follow through on the core values this society was built upon would have cost you plenty, you would have learned over time to be better behaved.

There was no better yesteryear. Just a fantasy people like to live when they accept no personal responsibility for where they are now.

You mean where we were better during the Civil War !

Not here I think, we know what he is up against, so long as the elite class have declared war on our President and he keeps trying anyways....for us...... he will be good to go in our books.

But...but he promised? And you believed him!

Awwww, he tried...lets give him a medal for trying its the presidential special olympics!

I said this would happen back in August. So, far, I'm batting 1000 on Trump fails.

I will give you credit, but it really isn't that hard to do my friend.........) Just assum he is lying and that gets you to 90% right off of the bat.

I know. He seems to back away from everything. He made a lot of unbelievable campaign promises, so should we be surprised?

If he run again, I wonder that he will promise in 2020.
"I will build a great wall on the Mexican border"..............lol

When are the hillbilly nativists going to turn against him?

The alt-right is already there. They've been betrayed far too many times already by Trump.

Do or do not, there is no try.

The GOP does not care if they have a bad candidate or a liar or a thief. They will vote for him. Hence, you get horrible presidents like W and Trumpy.

The D, OTOH, typically only supports a candidate who clears all the hurdles by a mile. So, a guy like Obama can win, while candidates like Gore, Kerry and Hillary cannot.

The data collection and data mining going on right now is mind-boggling, even for a numbers guy like me. I guarantee you GOPs in the RNC are scoping left-wing blogs doing this work.

Just tonight, looking at POTUS numbers from 2012, I could see your state has a senate called 'vested', with known house districts inside it, such as SD1 = HDs 81 + 82 + 83. Other states, like OK, have house and senate districts that cross lines and are not vested.

What they're doing is looking at federal CDs and state SDs and HDs, to see where a DEM POTUS ran strong but a GOP is currently the rep. This is how we know that 23 federal house reps had their CD won by Clinton.

They're only about 1/3 of the way through state houses. It's an updated offshoot of the GOP's REDMAP from 2010. This is how we get trump in 2018, by making them play in every race, like the current specials their ****ting bricks over .

According to top Congressional aides, there will be no provision in the government funding CR to build a wall on the Mexican border.

The wall is quite popular in principle and will make great wedge issue in 2018, and maybe even 2020.

Yeah im not gonna lie. Trump is disappointing me so far. I think he needs to capitulate less and arm twist more. However the left and the anti-trumpers are way to eager to declare him a failure. Im reserving my judgement of his leadership until he has completed his term and I can put everything into context.

Despite wjat is being said he has had some big victories from my petspective but he also has to keep more of his campaghin promises before i can vote for his relection.

Well in fairness it's true he did try, and the same when you said no, it's Ryancare. But i didn't see republicans give Obama the same benefit of doubt. He did try for a public option, he tried to close Gitmo, this and that, but he was obstructed. Still they didn't call it Liebermancare

The Trump voters were cool with the 'kenyan' not getting his way, now they whine about obstruction too...

I don't get the 'elitist' thing either. That might be true of non border states where they imagine illegals took all their jobs, but in Texas they absolutely don't want a wall. Half the damn state has mexicans mowing their lawns, not just elitists. Trump should be glad this won't become reality, else he would stand to turn Texas blue

Like when he threatened his own party with the health care debacle? Understand that with 40% approval and the most questionable election ever, he can't arm twist much. He just doesn't have the influence and these are absolutely the wrong things to fall on the sword over. Taking health care from 24 million mostly rural republican voters, and building a giant wall across everyone's backyard in Texas, how is he supposed to convince the 8 republican senators who have said hell no already to fall on the sword with him?

I think it's time you all accepted that he was "elected" by a fringe element and his behavior has produced quite a backlash for a reason

Besides Gorsuch, what do you consider to be a victory? Just asking.

There will be no physical wall. It's not going to happen IMO.

I'm a Republican voter who didn't vote for Trump. Not all of us are easily led and incapable of thinking outside the box.

I did vote for W. Bush - twice. There is no comparison between Bush and Trump. At least Bush was really a Republican, not a foul mouthed Democrat pretending to be a Republican so he could gin up his low class, low information supporters to elect him.

Considering that Trump received a million more votes than W in 2004 and two million more than Romney in 2012, I'd say too few Republicans did what you did.

This wall aint never gonna be built. End of story.
