No kidding half of all U.S. farm workers are undocumented

Did our resident genius in the Whitehouse as of tomorrow even think of this when he's vowed to deport all undocumented people? Damn will we be able to by chickens and eggs even if we can afford them? How about other farm products?

73% of US farm labor are migrants. The USDA estimates that half are undocumented. Given the significance, why is this overlooked by conservative rural America?​

He's not worried about the price of our groceries. He never was before this last election, and he sure as hell won't be talking about it now that he's won. American Voters are dumber than discarded corn husks.

It's overlooked because they are counting on Trump not actually doing it.
 
And there is no research being done to show how many prisoners are being used as slave labour on farms. The only reason food is cheap in america is because those god fearing hypocrits turn a blind eye to slavery.

The only thing he "thought of" was how he could fool 77 million voters into thinking he was going to deport......................people fall for these carnival barkers in every generation.....
 
It's rather an 'own goal' considering how red rural America votes. Like many other things in life, the farmers will each be thinking - ''kick out all those dirty illegal migrants that Trump told us about, but just not MY illegal migrants that I need so I can get my crops worked for $7.25/hr".

People do fall for this all the time, but you are correct. This is the first time in U.S. History that the BS Artist fooled so many at one time. There were always bozos running for president, but this time the voters had a major brain fart.....

It's worse than that. They have to pay each week to keep their jobs on a lot of the feed lots.

First of all, it's obvious that you are math challenged. I mean, I'm not a math whiz, but even I can see that half of 73% is not equal to half of 100%.

Anyway, farmers are just going to figure out how to make up the loss of 36% of their labor force. I have no sympathy for them, since they've been breaking the law for decaded.

And when Trump kidnaps all the migrants, separates kids from their families like last time and causes unneeded misery? I guess when those strawberries go unpicked and rot in farmer's fields those billionaires infesting the Trump administration will pat each-other on their acne'd backs for jobs well done.

One reasonable explanation is that there will be no mass deporations. Donald will make a show of one or two raids to give MAGAs the tingles and then wave something shiny at them to make them forget he ever promised it.
