Intentionally or not, Erwin effectively represented her police department with her views, and if the police department is keenly interested in not being the next Minnesota Police Department, then they were smart to fire her.

That’s the case in any situation. If a white person says “a person should be judged by the content of their character, not by the color of their skin,”. That person is portrayed to be a racist. And whatever you, don’t ever say I think all lives matter. Then you’re a white supremacist. .
