Yes but back in the day when these records were set who was actually doing that kind of daily recording and collation ?

I'd seriously doubt anyone was, given there was no lucrative political agenda riding on it like there is today :unsure:

My original comment stands. 1.2C is barely detectible; Your home thermostat has a bigger bandwidth.

You still don’t understand that it is 1.2C in a the HUGE area of the atmosphere and, yes, that makes a difference.

Can you point to the actual differences it actually made, given a very stable temperature growth of about .15C/decade?

Calculate the number of joules required to heat the entire atmosphere by this amount.

Why, data shows that heating, as I've said, since 1850 has been about 0.15C/decade. That number is based on actual records not pseudo-science.
