Ahhh....Free Agent Super Bowl Champs again.
Which means Haynesworth should likely break his arm 3 games in and Hall will get caught fighting cats out of his basement.
I really question the amount they spent on a guy who's never played a full season without injury and a corner who can't play man 2 man, but what're you gonna do.

You do realize that Albert Haynesworth is one of the best dt's in the NFL and Hall played outstanding for them this past year.
My beloved Bears need a WR, a Safety and tons of o-line help, so I hope they go after Housh, Coles, or even Nate Washington at WR, Jermaine Philips or Brian Dawkins at Safety, and they MUST, must must must sign a tackle like Khalif Barnes.
Warner and TJ Whosyourmamma would make this team competitive from the start. Tim Tebow, whom i believe can change the way QB is played, will be available at the end of round 1 next year baring injury. A all pro WR gives us the edge in acquiring another QB in FA if we forgo drafting a QB of the future in 2010.

To bad owners can not be traded. Jerry Jones sucks.
No, Al Davis sucks.
I am hoping that the Cowboys can land Ray Lewis. Though if he wants Haynesworth money/years then hell no.
That is kind of funny though. The more money the Redskins waste, the better I feel.
They picked up Frank Omiyale? WTF? He'll probably play right tackle but can play both. 11.5 to 14 million for four years.
They nee do-line help more than they need a QB. Orton was great before his ankle injury, which threw off his mechanics. And let's not forget, he had the worst wide-out group in the history of the NFL out there. I'm not throwing him under the bus just yet. We Bears fans need to hold back on throwing the QB under the bus. We've got too much of a hair trigger with that.
Give Orton one more year, but draft a QB if one slides (like how Rogers did for the Packers).
I agree with Crippler on Tebow. I think he's gonna suck in the NFL.
I think Orton will be fine. He had a major adjustment to make coming to the NFL, from Purdue. He played in a shotgun exclusive system under Joe Tiller and his "Basketball on grass" offense. Its alot different when you have to drop back in the pocket. So he's had a few years now to get it down. Give him some decent blocking and I think he'll be fine. He's not a mobile enough guy to make up for a porous line.
Tuck and Cripp, you are aware that Tebow is just as strong/athletic as Urlacher or Lewis from a combine perspective.
I don't care what the ESPN analysts say, if Indy listened to them, they would have drafted Ryan Leaf no.1. Tebow's leadership, athletic ability, and arm strength (find him make a bad throw against the best teams) make him an intriguing prospect, which he could be had in the 2nd round next year unless he goes absolutely ape **** and wins another national title.

In Urban Meyers offense, Tebow doesn't have to throw the ball more than 10 yards down the field. I think Tebow is a gifted athlete, and a good guy. He's a great leader at the collegiate level, but his physical tool set may be a better fit at a different position in the NFL. Some guys that are freak athletes in college can get away with playing QB. But you have to be a QB more than an athlete, to play QB in the NFL. Plus, unless Tebow is going to sneak it up the gut, he usually lines up in shotgun. This is a problem for guys coming to the NFL out of college systems that run shotgun offenses. You have to be developed as a drop back passer to make it in the league. Some guys can make the transition, but it usually takes time. Alex Smith isn't the athletic monster that Tebow is, but he went crazy in Urban Meyers offense at Utah and is a Ryan Leaf like bust. He couldn't adjust to drop back passing.
And regarding Tebow vs. Urlacher and stuff. There are plenty of guys that can match Urlacher and Lewis on combine numbers. The difference between getting hit by college LBs and NFL LBs is tremendous, due to the speed of the game. Rothelesberger is a huge guy as big as Tebow, and he gets the **** knocked out of him all the time. Its not just the LBs, but the DL as well, they are just that much bigger and faster than they are at college and if Tebow thinks he's going to be running people over on a QB draw, he's got another thing coming.
I don't hate Tebow, and I'd gladly eat my words if he became even a solid QB at the next level. I just don't see it.
